Travel and Equipment Grants – Application Form

Sport Grants are available for competing in squash, tennis, swimming or golf.
Level Applicants must be competing at county level or above, or have the clear potential to. Please include information such as teams, clubs and competition success.
Date of birth Applicants must be aged 13-17 years inclusive.
Qualifying address including postcode Applicants must live, go to school or college, or be a member of a sports club (for the sport they are seeking a scholarship in) which is located within five miles of Woodcote Park (KT18 7EW) or within the borough of Epsom and Ewell.
Statement on status The grants are intended to support young sportspeople who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford the support necessary to help them fulfil their sporting potential. Please provide an explanation of why the applicant meets this requirement. If, for confidentiality, you wish to provide this information in a separate statement rather than in this form you may do so.

EXPENSE BEING CLAIMED

Amount A maximum of £200.
Description Grants are available to reimburse the cost of: equipment necessary to compete at a high level; travel and accommodation necessary to take part in a competition; or competition entry fees.

a suitably qualified coach who is currently training, or who has recently trained, the applicant
a senior official of a sports club with which the applicant trains
the head of sport or head teacher at the applicant’s school or college.
