13U Silverhawks AAA Baseball Tryouts: July 27th (10 am - 1 pm) July 29th (6 pm - 9 pm) Location: Big Shanty (Field 1) Looking for AAA to Major level players to complete a team. All positions are open. Paid/Professional Coaches/Instructors Contact Carl Conforti for info at 770-310-4378 13U Naturals & Cyclones Nelson Baseball School at West Cobb is pleased to announce the expansion of the youth program for the 2013/2014 season following the highly successful inaugural season of the 12U NBS Naturals. Sean Fream has been appointed as the Director of Youth Operations to further develop a program that focuses on player development leading into high school. The 13U program will feature 2 major teams led by professional coaches. The Naturals will continue to be led by Sean Fream, former KSU player and current 16U NBS Head Coach. The Cyclones will be led by JB Johnson, former KSU player. Both teams will play out of West Cobb Baseball giving us strategic proximity to the home of Nelson Baseball School. Both teams will have a fall and spring schedule. We will play a light, three-tournament Fall season and a full 2014 spring season. We are planning on playing at AAA level at 14U and are looking for players in all positions. We will utilize paid coaches. The workout will be July 27th @ 10:00 AM at Big Shanty Park in Kennesaw on field 3. If you have questions, please call Bill Jones at 404-259-7629 or email me at bill@jandjcommunications.com 14U West Cobb Heat The 14U West Cobb Heat will hold a workout for interested players on Sunday July 28th from 2pm - 5pm at Big Shanty Park - 2050 Kennesaw Due West Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA (adjacent to Kennesaw Mountain High School). Our Head Coach is Tony Coward. Tony has several years of travel baseball coaching experience. He is also a private baseball instructor and has helped several local players reach the next level. Our Assistant/Pitching Coach is Mike Hostetler. Mike played for 7 seasons in the Atlanta Braves minor league organization and has coached at the travel and high school level.
