Objectives of the Course

Fundamentals of Nursing the aim of the course, the student's basic philosophy of nursing and health care system and in the role of the nurse is to help students grasp its role as a nurse. Students in nursing care based on theories, concepts, principles and methods to gain the knowledge and skills.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Recognizes the profession of nursing.

Objectives of the Course

Medical Microbiology introduces basic principles and then applies clinical relevance in five segments of the academic preparation for students: immunology, bacteriology, mycology, virology and parasitology. This lesson includes many etiological agents responsible for global infectious diseases.




Learning Outcomes

On completion of these courses, students should be able to

1. Have the knowledge in the structural, pathological, physiological and genetic features of microorganisms

2. Learning the Immune system mechanisms

3. The proper use of sterilization and disinfection methods




Course Content

Basic microbiology: it includes the structural, pathological, physiological and genetic features of microorganisms, sterilization and disinfection methods

Immunology: it includes the body's natural defense mechanism, Cells of the immune system, antigens, antibodies, antigen and antibody reactions, complement system.

Bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology:

It includes the features of infectious agents and the diseases which they cause
