Non-randomized control study, naturalistic prospective study- apathy evaluation scale before treatment and 6th week for 20 depressed and 20 anxiety disorder

40 patients, 20 with major depression, 20 with various anxiety disorders, and commenced on either SSRI or SNRI based on clinical basis

Apathy Evaluation Scale and Hamilton Depression or Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scales

Authors report apathy scores increased in all antidepressant groups by end of the 6th week but that difference in scores were significant for all SSRIs but not SNRIs
