Your Programme Manager will be your single point of contact.The Programme Manager will be responsible for the overall contracted MTD team to include but not limited to the following:Kelli Grinter will be your single point of contact. Kelli has managed complex projects which have included Great Western Railway (350 managers), Taylor Wimpey (600+ staff) and she and her team are responsible for the programme management of over 1,500 days of training each year. Previous to working for MTD she was a project case manager for Land Rover.

Kelli will drive the programme forward and will co-ordinate the activities of all of the other people involved. She will also liaise professional bodies and other suppliers to ensure a cohesive learning and development resource.

Louise Denny is Kelli’s assistant programme manager. Louise is there for contingency and cover for holidays and absence to ensure there is no slippage and the project plan is achieved.

Suzanna Baynard will ensure that the project comes in under budget and will ensure timely invoices that are error free to save on administration.

Jessica Taplin and her team are responsible for the joining instructions, logistics, attendance, performance reporting and the organisation of the delegates.

Jenny Verman and her elearning department are responsible for making sure that any technology requirements are catered for and any elearning is completed to include design and coding.

  • Overall co-ordination for agreeing on key deliverables and content, structure of the programme – making sure it’s on track, agreed with measures in place

  • Attend regular contract management reviews (Appendix 4 Attachment) to include latest feedback/evaluation results, make recommendations and any latest industry developments

  • Create, agree & ongoing evaluation of KPIs – making sure we consistently attain our objectives

  • Responsible for the quality assurance of the contract – assuring that tasks, procedures and processes are executed exactly as intended every time

  • Creating project plans, milestones & checkpoints to keep everyone focused on their roles

  • Produce training scheduling & administration – communication plan

  • Maintain risk log and actions – being proactive and not reactive to what might happen

  • Prepare and plan contingency for sickness, swings in volume,

  • Identify opportunities and demonstrate continuous improvement throughput the lifetime of the contract by making recommendations



Issue resolution
STAGE 1


  • MTD/Environment Agency identify an issue




  • Programme Manager for respective party is notified and a formal written account is sent via email for the record





STAGE 2


  • If issues persist or an issue is not resolved to the satisfaction of either party then it will become a complaint (see procedure below)




  • The process for a formal complaint is as follows:


STAGE 1


  • MTD/Environment Agency identify a complaint




  • Programme Manager for respective party is notified and a formal written account is sent via email for the record




  • Programme Manager is responsible for investigating the complaint (5 days)




  • Programme Manager will respond to the issue/complaint (Day 6)


STAGE 2


  • If either party are not happy with the response the matter will be referred to:




  • MTD Managing Director or Senior Stakeholder at Environment Agency




  • MD/Stakeholder responsible for investigating the complaint (10 days)




  • MD/Stakeholder will respond to the issue/complaint (Day 11)

Paul Johnson
Paul is a highly versatile training professional with extensive knowledge of training built up through over 20-years experience in training consultancy, design and delivery.

Paul’s management and training experience has predominately been at junior and middle levels.

Before moving into learning & development Paul was a manager himself at AXA managing over 30 staff in his department so he understands the challenges that managers face and can relate with relevant stories and anecdotes.
