Surrey County Council – 150 first line managers

Evaluation data showed a high quality of delivery with 100% of delegates typically recording satisfaction with the event and approximately 90% of people rating instructor interaction with the group as ‘excellent’ and 100% recording that they feel confident about putting the learning into practice.
Westcountry Housing Association – 80 managers

Evaluation of our management development course showed that 91% participating managers strongly agreed or agreed the Management Development programme helped them to be a more effective leader or manager.

Gilly Thompson
Gilly is a dynamic and successful TAP Certified L&D Practitioner, senior executive coach, mentor and training executive with 25 years commercial experience of working within blue chip organisations.

Gilly has worked in senior executive positions for brands including Marks and Spencer, Polaroid Cameras and IBM and BT. She commenced her career in multi-national account management in the IT sector, Gilly then progressed into communications roles, charged with enhancing the reputations of some of the world’s largest brand names and ended up managing teams in excess of 40 staff so she understands the challenges that managers face and can relate with relevant stories and anecdotes

As a trainer and consultant Gilly works for a range of private sector and public sector organisations throughout the UK. These clients have included the NHS, American Express, Rayban and VMware.

Her innovative and creative approach saw her pioneer measurable results for her clients.

Gilly’s style is energetic and enthusiastic and her ability to build rapport means that development is never dull. She enables insight and learning by using a range of models and techniques, she challenges situations, encourages exploration and responsibility for action and ownership.
