Basketball News

The beginning of the term saw the conclusion of the Capalaba Cup tournament.  This tournament was won by the Johnstone Jaguars in a very competitive grand final game!  The conclusion of the tournament also drew the attention of professional basketballers from the Logan Thunder Basketball Team, who came in to showcase their skills and judge the annual Capalaba ‘Dunk Comp’.  From this tournament an All Stars team was announced and these students attempted to match their skills with our talented teachers.  Unfortunately, the teachers took out this game however a rematch will be played in a couple of weeks with the highly anticipated teachers versus year 12 game.
