Malthusian Theory: Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences

Exact Plan Text: The USFG (USDA) and the PRC (Ministry of Agriculture) should engage economically and diplomatically through an expansion of the 2050 mission to solve the Malthusian theory and global stability.

Advantages/Harms (with explanation):

BIOTERRORISM- Bioterrorism is the intentional or threatened use of viruses, bacteria, fungi, or toxins from living organisms to produce death or disease in humans, animals or plants to accomplish political or social objectives [3]. Agents of bioterrorism can be altered or mutated in such a way so as to increase their virulence and ability to cause disease. They can be engineered to resist current medications. They can be spread through air, food, water, fomites, or through infected hosts.

GREEN REVOLUTION-A period when the productivity of global agriculture increased drastically as a result of new advances. The agricultural industry was able to produce much larger quantities of food through the green revolution
CHINA RELATIONS (SAY YES)-China and the U.S. on the whole have moved forward and made historic progress

China-U.S. cooperation not only benefits our two peoples, but also promotes peace, stability, and prosperity the world as a whole

GLOBAL ECON STABILITY- IMP UQ*- US/China coop is key to global economic stability- key to prevent shocks that cause decline

SOLVENCY

MALTHUSIAN THEORY

Diplomatically and economically engaging with China promotes increased global food production to geometric terms which solves for and corrects the Malthusian Theory.
GLOBAL FOOD SECURITY AND ECONOMIC STABILITY

By diplomatically and economically engaging with China in an agricultural based program, both nations would be able to combine resources to fund research and technology to work towards solving global hunger in a process that provides for countries who cannot necessarily develop it themselves, in turn boosting economic developments worldwide.

CLIMATE CHANGE

Partnering in research and technological development allows for the exchange and advancements between the U.S. and China, and encourages the search for a solution to climate change being that solving global warming may be the key to solving world hunger.

Mars - US Chinese Space Cooperation: UCSN – Garcia

Exact Plan Text: The United States Federal Government should increase its diplomatic engagement with the People's Republic of China by offering a joint space exploration program, including removing the Wolf Amendment and increasing Mars colonization efforts.

Advantages/Harms (with explanation):

Exploration Adv:

Space exploration saves potential future human lives by reaching potential new inhabitable places that are lost every second we don’t try to travel there due to loss of entropy within the universe.

Mars colonization is possible and a better option to others.

China is the only country willing and able to help.

Cooperation avoids overlap of research and allows a streamlined approach.

Multilateralism Adv:

Multilateralism allows the US to work with China improving their icy relationship.

Wolf amendment stalls international cooperation and would lead to space race.

Leads to space rivalry and lack of space understandings and rules.

Potential space debris could trigger nuclear retaliation
Solvency Mechanisms:

Stops space race, space increases positive interactions between the US and China, and prevents nuclear war.
