Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from from Muhammad ibnlh from Safwan from ya‘qub ibn Shu‘ayb who has said the following. “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (alaihi salam), ‘If something would happen to the Imam what should then the people do?” The Imam (alaihi salam) said, “Where are the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious, ‘Not all believers have to become specialists in religious learning. Why do not some people from each group of believers seek to become specialists in religious learning and, after completing their studies, guide their group so that they will have fear of God.’” (9:122) The Imam (alaihi salam) said, “They will good reason to be excused as long as they are searching also those who wait for them until they complete their religious education and return back to them”.
This proves that the majority of the Twelver Shi`ites were unaware of a pre-determined list with the names of the Twelve Caliphs. Even the so-called close companions were unaware of it like Zurârah (!) who didn’t know the new Imam after Imâm Ja’far al-Sâdiq.
And another narration from “Kafi” (1/381), authenticated by Bahbude and Majlisi in ”Mir’âh al-’Uqûl” vol. 4, page 240:
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ الْإِمَامِ مَتَى يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ إِمَامٌ حِينَ يَبْلُغُهُ أَنَّ صَاحِبَهُ قَدْ مَضَى أَوْ حِينَ يَمْضِي مِثْلَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ قُبِضَ بِبَغْدَادَ وَ أَنْتَ هَاهُنَا قَالَ يَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ حِينَ يَمْضِي صَاحِبُهُ قُلْتُ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ قَالَ يُلْهِمُهُ اللَّهُ .
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-Husayn from Safwan who has said the following. “I requested abu al-Hassan al-Rida (alaihi salam), ‘Enlighten me when an Imam comes to know that he is the Imam (alaihi salam)? Does it take place when the preceding Imam has already passes away or when he is about to leave this world? For example abu al-Hassan (alaihi salam) passed away in Baghdad and you were here (in the city of Madina)?” The Imam (alaihi salam) said, “He comes to know it at the time his companion (the preceding Imam) is about to leave this world.” I then asked, “By what means does he come to know it?” He said, “He comes to know it through inspiration from Allah.”
Allahu Akbar! What a great proof!!! Even imam didn’t know that he is going to be next one in the chain of 12, during the lifetime of previous imam, and he knew that only when previous one was about to die! So, obviously imam Hussain (alaihi salam) didn’t know that he’s going to be next imam, unless his brother Hasan (alaihi salam) was alive, and he knew that when Hasan (alaihi salam) was about to die! And after such proof someone can claim that 12 aimma was foretold by prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa ala alihi wa sallam)!!! Ya shiatul alam! Open your eyes, and read your own books!
And another hadith from “Kafi” (1/368), authenticated by Majlisi (4/170):
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى جَمِيعاً عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ يَا ثَابِتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى قَدْ كَانَ وَقَّتَ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فِي السَّبْعِينَ فَلَمَّا أَنْ قُتِلَ الْحُسَيْنُ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَأَخَّرَهُ إِلَى أَرْبَعِينَ وَ مِائَةٍ فَحَدَّثْنَاكُمْ فَأَذَعْتُمُ الْحَدِيثَ فَكَشَفْتُمْ قِنَاعَ السَّتْرِ وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّهُ لَهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ وَقْتاً عِنْدَنَا وَ يَمْحُو اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَ يُثْبِتُ وَ عِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ قَالَ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ فَحَدَّثْتُ بِذَلِكَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ قَدْ كَانَ كَذَلِكَ .
Ali ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn al-Hassan have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa all from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from abu Hamza al-Thumali who has said the following. “I heard abu Ja’far (alaihi salam) say, “O Thabit, Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, had set up a time limit for it in the year seventy but when al-Husayn (alaihi salam) was murdered Allah’s anger became more intense on the people on earth. He delayed it until one hundred forty. When then spoke to you about it and you publicized this hadith and disclosed the secret. Allah thereafter has not set up a time limit for it available with us. Allah deletes whatever He wants and establishes whatever He wants, with Him is the original book. Abu Hamza has said, “I narrated the above Hadith to abu ‘Abdallah (alaihi salam) and he said, “It was as you said.”
How would this be possible when supposedly the Prophet (صلى الله تعالى عليه واله وسلم) already mentioned the order of the Twelve A’immah by name? This hadîth is from every angle munkar and fabrication, but isn’t that already the case with the Twelver Imamate? Twelver Shi`a scholar Majlisi explains this away as Bada’ but some Shi`a Twelver scholars argued that it’s a mursal and majhûl hadîth because al-Hasan bin Mahbûb who would be only 1 year to narrate this from Abu Hamza al-Thamâlî. Anyway their whole rijâl system is subject to such problems when one goes deeper.
Another hadith from “Kafi” (1/371) which was authenticated by Bahbude and Majlisi (4/184):
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) اعْرِفْ إِمَامَكَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذَا عَرَفْتَ لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ تَقَدَّمَ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ أَوْ تَأَخَّرَ
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurara who has said the following. “Abu ‘Abdallah (alaihi salam) has said, ‘Learn who your Imam is. When you learn who he is then it will have no affect on you whether this matter (the rise of al-Mahdi with Divine Authority) will take place earlier or later.”
This is Zurârah, the closest companions of the A’immah of Ahl al-Bayt yet he is commanded to “know his Imam” instead of receiving a pre-determined list with all the names of the Twelve Caliph which is the reason he didn’t know the next Imâm “Musa bin Ja’far”. Subhân Allâh.
For these multiple reasons, grand Twelver Shi’ite scholar al-Khû’i, confessed in his book Sîrat al-Najat 2/452:
يقول الخوئي: الروايات المتواترة الواصلة إلينا من طريق العامة والخاصة قد حددت الأئمة عليهم السلام باثني عشر من ناحية العدد ولم تحددهم بأسمائهم عليهم السلام واحداً بعد واحد، حتى لا يمكن فرض الشك في الإمام اللاحق بعد رحلة الإمام السابق، بل قد تقتضي المصلحة في ذلك الزمان اختفاءه والتستر عليه لدى الناس؛ بل لدى أصحابهم عليهم السلام إلا أصحاب السر لهم، وقد اتفقت هذه القضية في غير هذا المورد والله العالم
Al khû’i says: “The authentic mutâwatir narrations which reach us by means of the Khassah (Twelver Shi’ites) and the ‘Âmmah ( Mainstream Muslims) only mention the number 12 but never specified them by their names peace be upon them one by one...”
I think this is enough. I mentioned from each sub-chapter (bâb) one narration which is sahîh according to Majlisi but there are also other sahîh narrations but most of them are weak or unknown. When one ponders good upon the mentioned points it becomes crystal clear and explains the differences and sub-divisions of this heretical Shi’ite sect throughout history.
And Allâh alone gives Success and He knows best.

In his “Ajwibatul istiftaat” (Q #325):
Q : There is a sect called ‘Aliyyullāhī which says that Ali (a.) is not a god, although he is not less than a god either. What is the rule applicable to them?
A: If they do not ascribe a partner to Allah, the One, the Munificent and the Exalted, the rule applicable to them is not that of polytheists.
Allahu Akbar! So if someone would say that Ali isn’t less than God, but wouldn’t say that he is partner of Allah, he’s not mushrik in his view!

لا ريب أن أهل البيت عليهم السلام يضحّون بأنفسهم في سبيل القرآن الكريم، لكنّهم أفضل ان صح قياس أحدهما بالآخر، لأنهم القرآن الناطق، ولولاهم لم يخلق الله تعالى خلقاً من مخلوقات هذا العالم، والقرآن مخلوق لله تعالى لأنه كلام الله تعالى.

Question: Which is greater in rank, the Holy Quran or the household(AhlulBayt) of the Prophet PBUH? thanks.
Answer: No Doubt AhlulBayt sacrifice themselves for the sake of the Quran, but if we could do qiyas then they Would Be Better as they are a “Speaking Quran” and if it weren’t for them Allah wouldn’t create any creature of this world, and the Quran as we know is a creature of Allah as it is the speech of Allah.

Questions in the grave!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
بداية نرحب بسماحة آية الله السيد حسين الشاهرودي ، وجزاكم الله خيرا لما تبذلون من جهد للإجابة على أسئلتنا.
وثانيا نشكر إدارة الموقع الكريمة والمشرفين الكرام على هذه الإستضافة.
وثالثا سؤالي عن منكر ونكير وأسئلة القبر والأئمة عليهم السلام فقد وجه لي هذا السؤال
س : من المعروف انه عندما يتوفى الإنسان، وينزل إلى القبر، يأتي منكر ونكير ويسأل الإنسان الأسئلة المعروفة (من ربك؟ وما دينك؟ ومن نبيك؟ و…….) والتي جوابها يكون شهادة أهل الإيمان (الله ربي، والإسلام ديني، ومحمد (ص) نبيي و……).
فهل عندما يتوفى الإمام المعصوم عليه السلام ، وينزل إلى قبره، يأتيه منكر ونكير ويسألانه عن هذه الشهادة؟ وان كانا يسألانه فهل يقول مثلا انه الإمام المفروض الطاعة؟
وجزاكم الله خيراً والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
الجواب :
الامام المعصوم عليه السلام هو امام وحجة على الملائكة أيضاً، وهو الذي يسأل الملائكة ويحتجّ عليهم، بل ملك الموت يستأذن في الدخول عليهم وقبض أرواحهم، بل ورد في حق المؤمن في بعض الحالات أنه لا يُسأَل في القبر لظهور حاله ووضوح ايمانه.
فقد ورد ان من عطس وقال بعد وضع اصبعه على انفه (الحمد لله رب العالمين، وصلى الله على محمد وآل محمد, اني آمنت بربكم فاسمعون) اذا مات وأُدخِلَ القبر وجاءه الملكان يعطس فيقول كعادته {اني آمنت بربكم فاسمعون} فيقول الملكان : لا حاجة الى السؤال من هذا الميت فانه أخبر بمعتقده.
بل يستفاد من بعض الروايات أن الأئمة عليهم السلام يأتون الى المؤمن في قبره ويلقنونه العقائد الصحيحة ويبشِّرونه بالجنة، بل انما يُسأَل الميّت في القبر ليُعرف على يعتقد بامامة الائمة الاثني عشر عليهم السلام ام لا ؟
فلا معنى لسؤال نفس الإمام عليه السلام عن ذلك.
Questioner: Ashiq al hussein.
Question: (…) It is known that when a man dies and goes into the grave the two angels Munkar wa Nakeer will come and ask him who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your prophet? ……… And the answer of the people of belief is (Allah is my lord, Islam is my religion, Muhammad PBUH is my Nabi………)
So when the infallible Imam dies PBUH and goes to his grave will Munkar wa Nakeer come and ask him about the Shahadah? and will he reply by for example I am the Imam who must be obeyed?
Answer: The infallible IMAM PBUH is an Imam and Hujjah on the angels as well, and he will be the one to ask the Angels and use hujjah on them, in fact the angel of death will take their permission before he extracts their souls, It was even mentioned regarding the believers in some cases will not even be questioned in the grave because of his clear Iman and apparent faith.
It was mentioned that he who sneezes and then says after he places his finger on his nose (Al Hamdu Lillah rab al Alameen, Sala Allahu ala Muhammad wa Alu muhammad, I have believed in your Lord so hear me) So when he dies and enters the grave and sneezes and he says as usual (I have believed in your lord so hear me) Then the two angels say: No need to question this dead for he has confessed his beliefs.
We even benefit from some of the narrations that the Imams PBUT come to the believer in his grave and teach him the proper aqeedah and give him glad tidings of heaven, in fact the dead are questioned in order to verify if they believe the twelve Imams or not, so there is no reason to question the imam himself about it.
These guys left no door of Ghulu which they didn’t open, astaghfirullah the Imams are Gods literally.

وكيف النبي محمد يتزوج من ناصبية والتي هي عائشه؟؟؟
وكيف الإمام الحسن المجتبى يتزوج من ناصبية والتي هي جعيدة بنت الأشعث ؟؟؟
الجواب :
ج1. باطل
ج2. أولاً : الأحكام كانت تدريجية، ولعل كفر الناصبي ونجاسته وبطلان الزواج منه كان من الأحكام المتأخرة التي أُمر النبي (ص) بتبليغها في آخر عمره بل مما فوض النبي (ص) تبليغها الى الأئمة عليهم السلام
ثانياً : عائشة وان كانت مبغضة للإمام علي عليه السلام ولأهل البيت عليهم السلام إلا أنها لم تكن تظهر العداء والبغض على عهد النبي (ص)، والناصبي انما هو من يظهر العداء لأهل البيت عليهم السلام، فيحكم بكفره بعد اظهار البغض بالسبّ والتبرّي ونحو ذلك، وقد كان الزواج مبنياً على ظاهر الحال، فكل من تشهد الشهادتين جاز النكاح معه وإن كان يبطن الكفر، ويكون منافقاً.
ج3. أولاً : يمكن انها كانت موالية حينما تزوجها الإمام الحسن عليه السلام ثم بعد ذلك خُدعت واقدمت على قتل الامام الحسن عليه السلام طمعاً في الدنيا لا لأجل العداء والبغض .
ثانياً : على فرض كونها مبغضة ومعادية للإمام من أول الأمر لم تكن تظهر العداء والبغض لتكون محكومة بحكم الناصبي، وقد تزوجها الامام عليه السلام لمصالح اجتماعية او سياسية على اساس ظاهر حالها وهو الاسلام وان كانت منافقة.

2- How can the Prophet PBUH marry a nasibi woman who is Aisha???
3- How is it that Imam al Hassan al mujtaba would marry a nasibi woman who is Ju’aidah bint al Asha’ath???
Answer:
1- Batil (broken not accepted).
2- Firstly, The rulings descended gradually, and probably the kufr of the nasibi and his najasah(impurity) and the annulment of his marriage are probably some of the rulings which were revealed at the end of his life PBUH and it could be that he even entrusted the Imams PBUT to spread it and make tableegh about it.
Secondly, Even if Aisha is a hater of imam Ali PBUH and his ahlulbayt PBUT she never revealed her hatred during the life of the prophet PBUH and as we know the Nasibi is one who shows his hatred to ahlulbayt, that marriage was built upon what was apparent from her condition and back then anyone who took Shahadah was permissible for marriage.
3-Firstly, it could be that she was Muwaliyah(Loyal to ahlulbayt) when Imam al Hassan PBUH married her, and then she was tricked and tried to kill him PBUH because of her greed and love of this life and not because of her hatred for him. Secondly, let us say for the sake of argument that she was a hater and enemy of the imam, it could be that she never showed this so we can’t say she’s nasibi and the imam married her for social benefits or political benefits and only for what appeared of her and that is Islam even if she was a hypocrite.

(he quoting hadith) “O Ali! Allah Taala said to me: “O Muhammad I send Ali with prophets inwardly and with you outwardly”.
And in other hadith from stamp of prophets and messengers: “There was no messenger that Ali wouldn’t send alone with him inwardly and with me outwardly”.
And in other one, prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa ali wa sallam)said: “Ali was send along with all prophets secretly and with me openly”.

There is no bound in quluw of rafida in ahlel-bayt. They ascribed to them such things, like ancient greeks ascribed to their gods.
“Bihar al-anwar” (23/320):
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: خلق الله من نور وجه علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام سبعين ألف ملك يستغفرون له ولمحبيه إلى يوم القيامة
“Messenger of Allah (sallalahu alaihi wa alihi) said: “Allah created 70 thousand angels from face of Ali (alayhi salam), they ask for forgiveness for him and his lovers till doomsday”.
What is more important: Quran or aimma?

We are challenging Ruhane and all his followers, to give us single known name of sunni scholar, with direct reference to his book (scan or link, because rafida couldn’t be trusted), which would say that Quran was tampered.

Translation:
Question: Is it true that the imams peace be upon them are better than all prophets except for the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and his family? And if that were true then what is the ruling of the one who rejects it?
Answer: Bismillah,
There are plenty of sahih narrations showing that the imams are better than all prophets except for our prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa ali); And he who revises the books will have no doubts in this matter unless he rejects it out of stubbornness then he’s a KAFFIR, whereas he who does not know about those narrations he isn’t a kaffir, for rejecting it is rejecting what is necessary.

So belief in the corruption of Quran, belief of their greatest scholars like Kulayni and Jaza`eri, Bahrani and many others….isn’t so important to make takfeer upon them. May be because Quran isn’t a big deal for shias? But if someone would reject idiocy that imams are better than prophets, he’s kaafir in accordance to this zindiq Ruhane!

9- Abu Ja’afar said: Abdullah bin Muhammad told us from Ibarah bin Zaid, from Thabit, Anas bin Malik that he said: I saw Ali Bin al Hussein (alaihi salam) and he was on his way to Yanbi’i (Location), so I said to him: O Son of the Messenger of Allah, wouldn’t it be easier for you if you ride (A horse), He said: I will show you here what is easier, As I looked he started to elevate with the wind and soon he was surrounded by birds then the wind and the birds spoke to him.
Source: Nawadir al mu’ujizat 117, Dala’el al Imamah 86, Madinat al Ma’ajiz 294 #11.
9 – ومنها: قال أبو جعفر: حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد، عن عبارة بن زيد، عن ثابت، عن أنس بن مالك، قال: لقيت علي بن الحسين عليهما السلام وهو خارج إلى ينبع. فقلت: يابن رسول الله لو ركبت لكان أيسر. فقال: هاهنا ما هو أيسر، فانظر. فحملته الريح وحفت به الطير من كل جانب فما رأيت مرفوعا أحسن منه، يرفد إلى الطير لتناغيه والريح تكلمه.
8- Abu Ja’afar Said: Abdullah bin Muneer told us, from Muhammad bin Isaac al Sa’edee and Abu Muhamad Thabit bin Thabit that they said: The crowd of bin Hakim told us, he said: I saw Ali bin al Hussein (alaihi salam) and he had grown wings with feathers so he flew then descended then said: I just met with Ja’afar Bin Abi Talib (alaihi salam) in the highest of highs, So I asked could you ascend? He said: And how can we not when the throne and the kursee are ours. Source: Nawadir al Mu’ujizat 116, Dala’el al imamah 86, Madinat al ma’ajez 293 #8.
8 – ومنها: قال أبو جعفر: حدثنا عبد الله بن منير، عن محمد بن إسحاق الصاعدي وأبي (4) محمد ثابت بن ثابت، قالا: حدثنا جمهور بن حكيم، قال: رأيت علي بن الحسين عليهما السلام وقد ثبت له أجنحة وريش، فطار، ثم نزل، فقال: لقيت الساعة جعفر بن أبي طالب عليهما السلام في أعلى عليين. فقلت: رجل تستطيع أن تصعد ؟ فقال: (… فكيف لا نقدر أن نصعد…) (5). والعرش والكرسي لنا.
10- Abu Ja’afar said, my brother told me from Abi al Hassan Ahmad bin Ali who is known as “Ibn al Baghday”, he said: I found in the book which is called “book of Mu’udilat” a narration of Talib Muhamad bin al Hussein bin Zaid He sad: (…) From Muhammad bin Thabit that he said: I was sitting in the majlis of Sayyiduna Abi al Hassan Ali bin al Hussein ZainulAbedeen (alaihi salam) when Abdullah ibn Umar bin al Khattab stood and said: Ya Ali bin al Hussein, I heard that you claim that prophet Yunus was trapped in the belly of the whale because he refused the wilayah of Ali bin abi Talib (alaihi salam) and opposed it, So Ali bin al Hussein Said (alaihi salam): O Abdullah and do you deny this?
Ibn Umar said: I do not accept it, the imam said: Do you want this to be proven? He said: Yes, the imam said: Sit down, then he called on his boy and told him to bring them two pieces of cloth, then he told Muhammad Bin Thabit: Ya Muhamad cover the eyes of Abdullah with this piece and then cover your own eyes with the other. Then He spoke some words and then he said: Remove the cloth, suddenly we found ourselves on a Rug on the coast of the sea. He spoke some other words and the whales responded to him and it appeared between them a giant female whale, He said to her: What is your name? She said: My name is Noun, he asked; Why was Yunus trapped in your belly? She said: he denied the wilayah of your father Ali bin abi talib so he was trapped in my belly and when he finally accepted it, I was ordered to release him, and it is also similar with those who refuse the wilayah of ahlulBayt they will be thrown in hellfire. Then the Imam said: O Abdullah bin Umar have you heard and witnessed? He said: Yes, Then he told us to cover our eyes again as he spoke words and suddenly we were back on that same rug in his Majlis, Abdullah later left So I told the Imam: I saw fantastic things today and I have believed, Do you think Abdullah will believe in what i believed? He said: Would you like to know? I said: Yes, He said: Stand up and follow him, So I followed him and walked besides him and he told me: If you knew the Magics of Bani abdul Mutallib you wouldn’t be fooled so easily, They are a people who inherit Magic from generation to generation. Then I realized that what my imam said was the truth.

10 – ومنها: قال أبو جعفر: أخبرني [ أخي ] (3) (رض) عن أبي الحسن أحمد ابن علي المعروف ب* ” ابن البغداي ” – مولده ب* ” سورا ” (4) في يوم الجمعة [ لخمس بقين من ] جمادى الاولى سنة 295 -، قال: وجدت في الكتاب الملقب بكتاب ” المعضلات ” رواية أبي طالب محمد ابن الحسين بن زيد قال: حدثني أبوه، ابن رباح – رفعه عن رجاله – عن محمد ابن ثابت قال: كنت جالسا في مجلس سيدنا أبي الحسن علي بن الحسين زين العابدين عليهما السلام إذ وقف به عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب، فقال: يا علي بن الحسين، بلغني أنك تدعي أن يونس بن منى عرض عليه ولاية أبيك علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام فلم يقبله، فحبس في بطن الحوت. فقال له علي بن الحسين عليهما السلام: يا عبد الله، وما أنكرت [ من ] (6) ذلك ؟
قال: إني لاأقبله. فقال: أتريد أن يصح لك ذلك ؟ قال له: نعم. ثم قال له: اجلس. ثم دعا غلامه، فقال: جئنا بعصابتين. وقال لي: يا محمد بن ثابت، شد عين عبد الله باحدى العصابتين، واشدد عينك بالاخرى، فشددنا أعيننا فتكلم بكلام، ثم قال: حلوا أعينكم. فحللناها، فوجدنا أنفسنا على بساط ونحن على ساحل البحر. فتكلم بكلام فاستجابت له حيتان البحر إذ ظهرت بينهن حوتة عظيمة، فقال لها: ما اسمك ؟ فقالت: إسمي نون. فقال لها: لم حبس يونس في بطنك ؟ فقالت له: مرض عليه ولاية أبيك علي بن أبي طالب فأنكرها، فحبس في بطني فلما أفر بها وأذعن امرت، فقذفته. وكذلك من أنكر ولايتكم أهل البيت يخلد في نار الجحيم. فقال له: يا عبد الله، أسمعت وشهدت ؟ فقال: نعم. فقال: شدوا أعينكم. فشددناها فتكلم بكلام، ثم قال: حلوها. فحللناها، فإذا نحن على البساط في مجلسه. فودعه عبد الله وانصرف، فقلت له: يا سيدي لقد رأيت في يومي عجبا وآمنت به، فترى عبد الله بن عمر يؤمن بما آمنت به ؟ فقال لي: أتحب أن تعرف ذلك ؟ فقلت: نعم. فقال: قم، فاتبعه وماشيه، واسمع ما يقول لك. قال: فتبعته في الطريق ومشيت معه فقال لي: إنك لو عرفت سحر [ بني ] (1) عبد المطلب لما كان هذا في نفسك، هؤلاء قوم يتوارثون السحر كابرا عن كابر (2).
فعند ذلك علمت أن الامام لا يقول إلا حقا

Shia muhadith #1 Muhammad al-Kulayni narrated in his book al-Kafi (1/143/#4):
الحسين بن محمد الأشعري ومحمد بن يحيى جميعا، عن أحمد بن إسحاق عن سعدان بن مسلم عن معاوية بن عمار عن أبي عبد الله (ع) في قول الله عز وجل: “ولله الأسماء الحسنى فادعوه بها” قال: نحن والله الأسماء الحسنى التي لا يقبل الله من العباد عملا إلا بمعرفتنا.
4. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Ash‘ari and Muhammad ibn Yahya altogether have narrated from Ahmad ibn Ishaq from Su‘dan ibn Muslim from Mu‘awiya ibn ‘Ammar from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following about the words of Allah. ”God has the most blessed Names. You should address Him in your worship by these Names . . .” (7:180) The Imam said, “We, I swear by Allah, are the most blessed names of Allah without which Allah does not accept any of the good deeds of His servants until they know us properly.”
Other shia scholar al-Aayashi in his commentary (2/42, as it quoted by al-Majlisi in “Biharul anwar” 91/5, and by Tabarsi “Mustadrak al-wasail” 5/229-230) narrated that Imam said:
“We are beautiful names of Allah, (and) it wouldn’t be accepted from anyone except by knowing us properly”.

Kulayni in “al-Kafi” (1/484) narrated:
عدة من أصحابنا، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن علي بن الحكم، عن عبدالله بن المغيرة قال: مر العبد الصالح بامرأة بمنى وهي تبكي وصبيانها حولها يبكون، وقد ماتت لها بقرة، فدنا منها ثم قال لها: ما يبكيك يا أمة الله؟ قالت: يا عبدالله إن لنا صبيانا يتامى وكانت لي بقرة معيشتي ومعيشة صبياني كان منها وقد ماتت و بقيت منقطعا بي وبولدي لا حيلة لنا فقال: يا أمة الله هل لك أن أحييها لك، فالهمت أن قالت نعم يا عبدالله، فتنحى وصلى ركعتين، ثم رفع يده هنيئة وحرك شفتيه، ثم قام فصوت بالبقرة فنخسها نخسة أو ضربها برجله، فاستوت على الارض قائمة، فلما نظرت المرأة إلى البقرة صاحت وقالت: عيسى ابن مريم ورب الكعبة، فخالط الناس وصار بينهم ومضى عليه السلام.
From ‘Abdallah ibn al-Mughira who has said the following. “The pious servant of Allah passed in Mina by a woman who was weeping and her children around her also were weeping because her cow was dead. He went close to her and asked, “What has caused you to weep O slave of Allah ?” Sshe said, “O servant of Allah, we have orphan children. Our cow that was them means for our living has died and we are left without any means of living.” He said, “Will you be happy if will b;ring your cow back to kife?” She was just inspired to say, “Yes, O servant of Allah I will be very happy..” He stepped aside and said two Rak‘at prayers. He then raised his hands gently has said the following and moved his lips. He then stood up and called the cow to get up. He pushed the cow with his foot or a staff and she was up straight and standing. When the woman looked at the cow she cried and said, “Jesus, son of Mary, I swear by the Lord of the Ka‘ba. Many people gathered around and he disappeared among them and went.”
He cited it in chapter “The Birth of abu al-Hassan Musa ibn Ja‘far (a.s.)”.
Obviously here talk was about that Imam, but Allah knows best.

4. Doctrine Concerning the Position of mujtahid
We believe that a fully qualified mujtahid is a representative of the Imam, in the case of the latter’s absence. Thus he is an authority over Muslims and he performs the functions of the Imam as regards judgement and administration among the people. Because of this, Imam Ja’far as Sadiq said:
