Duties: The Senior CAMHS Clinician (Early Intervention) will be expected to provide leadership across the Mid North Region regarding early intervention mental health services and facilitate program development and implementation designed to meet the early intervention mental health needs of children, adolescents and their families in the local country region of South Australia. The incumbent is required to provide such services in relative isolation from other incumbents, thus requiring high degree of independent operation and a corresponding broad range of skills at a high level of expertise. The Senior CAMHS Clinician (Early Intervention) is required to assume day to day responsibility for providing a complete clinical and assessment service in conjunction with other CAMHS regional staff, helping to plan, implement and evaluate new services in the region and to provide consultation, teaching and research. The Senior CAMHS Clinician (Early Intervention) may also be the local CAMHS representative on various other relevant community services committees.
Qualifications: For appointment at the PSO2 level, an appropriate qualification from a recognised tertiary institution giving eligibility for membership with the relevant Professional Association. For appointment at the RN3 level, registered as a Registered General Nurse and Mental Health Nurse by the Nurses board of South Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate.
Special Conditions: Position initially located in Port Pirie, South Australia. This position is temporary for up to 12 months with a possibility of a further temporary contract being offered for up to 12 months. This is a part time position working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to hours worked.

Duties: Noarlunga Emergency Mental Health Service provides mobile emergency mental health interventions. The Noarlunga Senior Professional has a senior clinical role, in addition to a development and co-ordination role for the Emergency Mental Health Service. The incumbent facilitates the development of practices for effective and efficient functioning of a multi-disciplinary team of Emergency Mental Health staff based at Noarlunga, and participates in continuous quality improvement. In addition to supervision and co-ordination of staff, the incumbent will also have delegated responsibility from the Noarlunga Emergency Mental Health Service/Mobile Assertive Care Service Team Leader for co-ordination and support for the Emergency Department Liaison Psychiatric Nurse (0.5 FTE). The incumbent reports to the Team Leader of Noarlunga Emergency Mental Health Service/Mobile Assertive Care Service while working closely with local mental health and other health partners. Liaison with Regional ACIS services will be critical as these services will provide telephone triage and evening care for Noarlunga Emergency Mental Health Service clients. Key liaison areas include the Noarlunga Emergency Department, SA Police, General Practitioners and other divisions of Noarlunga Health Services.

Special Conditions: A current driver's licence is essential. Intrastate travel may be required. Initial appointment will be to the Noarlunga Emergency Mental Health Service, Division of Mental Health, Mobile Assertive Care Service Team, but, may be required to move to another team/location within the region. The hours of work will be 38 hours per week initially rostered over 7 days. Must be willing to participate on the "on-call" roster.
