APU Air/Load Control Valve

(M) (O) May be inoperative provided:

  1. Air valve is secured closed, and

  2. APU air switch remains OFF.

Note

If APU and APU Generator operate normally, APU may be used to provide electric power.



  1. Locate APU air valve in Rear Equipment Bay. Check valve mechanical indicator CLOSED.

  2. Disconnect electrical connections, bag and stow.

  3. In cockpit locate APU Air Valve Switch and insure that it is OFF.

  4. Place Inoperative ‘INOP’ Placard at APU air valve switch.

  1. Do not use APU bleed air.

  2. If APU and APU generator are operational, they may be used.
