Atlanta Braves HS Scholarship Program

Each season, the Braves and Publix Super Markets team up to award six $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the state of Georgia who have demonstrated strong community service and solid academic performance throughout their high school years. Georgia Electronic Life Safety & Systems Association Scholarship Fund

The scholarship award is for $1500 and is available to qualified high school seniors. The winner will automatically be eligible for another scholarship with the Electronic Security Association with a first place award of $7500 and second of $2500. Presbyterian College-Multiple Scholarships

Presbyterian College offers a strong scholarship program in addition to its need-based program. Multiple scholarships are available, but you must have completed an application to the college as well as a financial application by the deadline.

The Bridgestone Americas Safety Scholars Contest

Accepting submissions from students 16-21. Contestants should make a short 25-55 second video about auto safety. Grand prize winner receives a $10,000 scholarship, and our second and third place winners each receive a $5,000 college scholarship. Street Angels Motorcycle Club Scholarship

Street Angels Motorcycle Club will award one scholarship to a deserving freshman entering a four-year college/university. The scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $500, and will be paid directly to the student upon the verification of application information and the receipt of proof of enrollment. Applicant must be a freshman entering a four-year college or university, have a parent/guardian that is a licensed motorcycle rider in the state of Georgia, must be a resident of Georgia, must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale, Applicant must provide proof of community service with the application packet, must submit a 500 word essay (see application). Great Clips Scholarships

Current students, high school students and anyone interested in cosmetology or barbering as a career can apply for a scholarship through the Alice Madden Barton Scholarship program. These scholarships can be used at any cosmetology or barbering school. The scholarships are given out twice a year in January and July to applicants who can demonstrate a passion for the craft and dedication to developing their skills. Four scholarships of $1000 each; must be grandchild of a parent who served in the military and is a member of the American Legion in the department of Georgia. Must be a graduating senior, live in Georgia, sponsored by Dept of American Legion Post, precipitate in community and school activities and be endorsed by the sponsoring Post and HS principal. Pi Kappa Alpha is offering a $500 scholarship based on high school involvement/achievement to incoming male freshmen that are interested in becoming involved with the Greek system at Georgia Tech. National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY) Scholarship

The National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth provides scholarship assistance to students who are homeless or have experienced homelessness through the LeTendre Education Fund for Homeless Children. There will be a minimum of two $1,500 scholarships awarded annually. The scholarship is a one-time award. Additional financial support may be available for scholars in subsequent years. LeTendre scholarship funds are available to students who are homeless or who have been homeless during their K-12 school attendance, and who have demonstrated average or higher than average achievement.
