After their marriage, Richard Gervin Duncan built thier first home, a log house , near Jasper, Florida where they lived for many years and where their children were forn. They had nine children, two boys and seven girls. One son died from Typhoid Fever at age nineteen. He never married. After all their children were married , Richard and Lilian built a new home on the new highway that came through their property. That house later burned and they moved into Jasper, Florida as they were getting on in age. Lillian passed away in the spring of 1947 and Richard passed away in the fall of 1947.
