Former All-Pro NFL Quarterback


Career Highlights: A 15-year NFL veteran and Pro Bowl quarterback, Trent Green is currently an analyst on NFL on Fox, as well as a studio analyst for the NFL Total Access show on the NFL Network…Green spent his last NFL season in 2008 with the St. Louis Rams where he had won a Super Bowl ring in 2000 during his first stint with the team...Green’s NFL career includes playing with San Diego (1993), Washington (1995-98), St. Louis (1999-2000, 2008), Kansas City (2001-06), and Miami (2007)…The leader of the prolific Kansas City offense for six seasons, Green entered the 2006 season with a streak of 80 consecutive starts (the longest streak in Kansas City history), but suffered his first severe concussion in the first game of the season that hindered him throughout the year…He still managed to play in eight games and helped the Chiefs make the playoffs…Green threw for 4,014 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2005 while helping Kansas City to a 10-6 record...He is one of only six quarterbacks in NFL history to pass for more than 4,000 yards in three or more seasons during their career...Named to the Pro Bowl in 2004 and 2006, Green has established 15 franchise passing marks…Under his direction in 2002 and 2003, Kansas City led the NFL in scoring both of those season…Green’s individual numbers in 2004 reflected the team’s offensive prowess as he set single-season franchise records for completions (369), passing yards (4,591), 300-yard games (8) and passes of 20+ yards (59)…He also set personal bests with 27 touchdown passes and a 66.37 completion percentage…Green was a member of the 2000 St. Louis team which beat the Tennessee Titans 23-16 in Super Bowl XXXIV…Green began his career in San Diego in 1993…He had a brief, two-week stint on the roster of the Canadian Football League’s British Columbia before catching on with the Washington Redskins (1995-98)…Green moved on to the St. Louis Rams in 1999 and suffered a devastating knee injury in the preseason where he missed the entire 1999 season and spent two years overcoming lingering effects of injuries while with the Rams.…He was traded to the Chiefs in February 2001 and has been an incredible comeback story ever since…Over his NFL career, he played in 120 regular season games and completed 2,266 of 3,740 passes for 28,475 yards with 162 touchdowns and 114 interceptions…He finished his collegiate career at Indiana near the top of virtually every major passing category, completing 421 of 755 passes for 5,400 yards with 23 touchdowns and 32 interceptions.

Career Highlights: Todd Haley brought an energetic and passionate approach to his second season as Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs…Haley led the Chiefs to first place in the AFC West with a 10-6 record…The Chiefs won their first three games, including the season opener on Monday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers, and was the last undefeated team remaining in the NFL before losing to Indianapolis in Week 5…The team’s run ended when they lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Wild-Card Game on January 9, 2011…Haley, who enters his 17th season in the NFL in 2011, joined the Chiefs after a two-year stint as offensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals (2007-08)...During his tenure with the Cardinals, he helped revitalize a franchise that hadn’t reached the NFL title game since 1947…In just his second season in Arizona, the Cardinals enjoyed a remarkable renaissance, winning the club’s first division title since 1975 and also had a sensational postseason run, reaching Super Bowl XLIII thanks in large part to Haley’s explosive offensive unit…Under Haley’s guidance, the Cardinals offense in 2008 was one of the league’s most innovative and explosive units...Arizona tied for third in the league in scoring, registering a franchise-record 427 points (26.7 points per game) and fourth in total offense, averaging 365.8 yards per game…Arizona was second in the league in passing offense and ranked sixth in the NFL with 20.5 first downs per game...In 2007 the Cardinals ranked fifth in the league in passing and set a single-season franchise record with 32 touchdown passes...In addition to his tenure with the Cardinals, Haley enjoyed previous NFL coaching experience with Dallas (2004-06), Chicago (2001-03) and the New York Jets (1997-2000), earning playoff berths with each of those franchises…He joined Ken Whisenhunt’s staff in Arizona after serving a three-year stint as passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach for Dallas (2004-06)...In 2006, the Cowboys offense ranked fourth in the NFL in passing as quarterback Tony Romo became a Pro Bowl performer in his first year as a starter and Dallas qualified for the postseason...Haley’s passing attack helped the Cowboys finish fourth in the league in scoring and second in third-down efficiency at 48.8%...Haley joined the Cowboys after three years as wide receivers coach for Chicago (2001-03)...In 2001, the Bears went 13-3 and won the NFC Central for the first time since 1990 as wide receiver Marty Booker set a single-season franchise record with 100 catches…Under Haley’s tutelage in 2002 Booker became just the second player in franchise annals to post back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns, becoming Chicago’s first Pro Bowl wide receiver since 1971...Haley’s initial NFL experience came with the New York Jets (1995-2000), where he served as that club’s wide receivers coach from 1999-2000...Haley also worked as an offensive assistant/quality control coach for the Jets (1997-98)…He began his NFL tenure as an assistant in the Jets scouting department in 1995, where he scouted regionally and assisted in player evaluations.
