ABSTRACTLake Basin a government institution founded provide an avenue for a quicker, more meaningful and co-coordinated development in the Kenyan portion of the Lake Victoria basin. It has several branches I.e. sondu miriu Yala and Kuja among others. LBDA has several departments including the ICT department where did my attachment. My attachment session occurred for a period of 11 weeks starting from 22nd January up to 31st March 2021. It involved carrying out activities in all the sections of the ICT department which included; Networking, Database Administration, Operations and Maintenance, Web design, Server Management and Monitoring, among others. I also managed to gain certain skills like leadership, time management skills and teamwork among others. The attachment was successful as I managed to meet all the objectives I had. LBDA however has certain challenges as explained below and certain recommendations to help solve them. In conclusion, doing my attachment at LBDA has been very productive and useful to my career life and to the organization as well since I creatively contributed to solving some of the challenges E.g creating google forms to help the ICT department help their clients working from home.
