Note: <888> 11/12/04 Friday 10:05 P.M.: I chatted with someone before leaving after the last message. I then went by the Greenwich Library, and I chatted with a couple of regular library users. I then went by the Greenwich Hospital thrift shop, and I chatted with another computer user. I then went downtown, and I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue including the train station area. I used the bathroom at the senior and arts center. I also stopped by CVS, and I bought four 14 ounce bags of spice drops for .25 each bag and .06 tax for $1.06 total. After I completed my walk, I drove down by the waterfront. I then went by the Greenwich Library again, and I chatted with another local library user. I then returned home, and I chatted with some neighbors. I drank some iced tea. I put three teaspoons of olive oil and two pads of margarine in my 10 inch omelet pan, and I heated it over medium high electric heat, and once the fat began to bubble, I lowered it to a little lower than medium. I had already broken three eggs in a metal bowl, and I added a couple of tablespoons of milk, and I mixed it altogether with a whisk. I added the egg mixture to the omelet pan, and I let it head until it was solid enough to flip over. I then flipped it over with a spatula. I then let it heat a little more until that side was cooked a little bit and it was puffy. I then slid it on to a microwave proof plate, and I added three small sliced plum tomatoes sliced into 3/16 inch thick slices and 10 slices of 1.5 inch by 1.25 inch by 1/8th inch thick slices of half Stop and Shop Swiss cheese and half Stop and Shop Vermont extra sharp cheddar cheese , and I put it all in the General Electric microwave oven with a microwave cover, and I heated it on reheat for half of the reheat time to melt the cheese and warm the tomatoes. I then put the microwave proof plate with the open face omelet on another plate. I also added two slices of toast with two slices each of margarine, and I cut the toast in half. I ate it all with a glass of iced tea. CIO

Note: <888> 11/12/04 Friday 2:00 P.M.: I woke up during the night, and I ate a half of a 12 ounce can of CVS mixed nuts. I was up at 8 A.M., and I ate breakfast of oatmeal with a sliced banana, toast with strawberry jam, orange juice, vitamins, supplements, and coffee. I went back to bed until 10 A.M.. I did my house cleaning and watering the plants. I also cleaned the metal filter on the stove fan, and I put out in the living room area the two DeLonghi oil filled radiators to have available for extra heat during the winter. However, they do use a bit more electricity. I do not have them turned on at the moment, but they are easy enough to turn on. While doing the house cleaning at 11:30 A.M., I watched Prime Minister Blair's 10 Downing Street website and President Bush's www.whitehouse.gov press conference. I threw out the garbage. I picked up the mail. I received in the mail from http://www.smokemcheapcigarettes.com/ seven cartons of Seneca Ultra Lights 100s which I ordered for $11 a carton plus a $1.20 a carton postage. I just had a strange telephone call saying it was only good for an answering machine. CIO

Note: <888> 11/11/04 Thursday 4:50 P.M.: I went out after the last message. I went by the Greenwich Hospital Thrift Shop. I next watched the Veteran's Day ceremony at the Greenwich, Connecticut post office for about an hour. I then walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area, and I sat out at various locations. During my walk, I stopped by the Korean vegetable and fruit market, and I bought five Dole bananas for .89, and the Greenwich Hardware store, and I bought another "Support Our Troops" magnetic sticker for $2 and .12 tax for $2.12 total. I also stopped by CVS, and I bought a 12 ounce can of CVS mixed nuts for $2.50 and four 14 ounce bags of spice drops for .25 each bag plus .06 tax for $3.56 total. I also used the bathroom at Starbucks. I next drove down by the waterfront. I then went by the Stop and Shop, and I bought from the damaged goods rack a 12 ounce jar of Stop and Shop dry roasted peanuts for .75, a dented 18.8 ounce Campbell's Chunky savory chicken with white and wild rice for .35, a dented 18.8 ounce Campbell's Chunky Salisbury steak with mushrooms and onion soup for .85, a dented Campbell's 18.8 ounce Chunky chicken with vegetable soup for .85, and two Stop and Shop blue toilet bowl cleaner tablets for .99 each plus .12 tax for $4.90 total. I then made my 3 P.M. appointment. I then returned home, and I brought up my purchases, and I went back down with a roll of Scotch tape, and I taped the "Support Our Troops" magnetic ribbon on the inside driver's side rear side window. Thus one can not steal it or lose it in the car wash. I did not put it in the rear window because it would obscure my rear vision. One of my neighbors told me that there were four matching pillows to my new sofa in the community room, so I brought them up to my apartment. Each is about a foot square with matching fabric. I put two of each at each end of the sofa with the three large beige pillow along the back of the sofa. CIO

I went back outside, and I threw out some garbage. I picked up my mail. I came back upstairs, and although it is a nice day, it is a bit cool in my apartment, so I put my full length of GAP long underwear on that I bought at the GAP www.gap.com for Christmas about seven years, and I have never worn them very much. I have them underneath the casual pants and sweat shirt that I am wearing around the apartment. If it gets really cold, I can always wear my long heavy cranberry full length terry cloth bathrobe that I bought about two years ago at the Merry Go Round Mews thrift shop for $17.50. I have plenty of winter clothes, but I frequently when I am in a rush forget to dress warmly enough. Although it is a nice day out, I am just having a relaxing quiet day at home. CIO

Note: <888> 11/09/04 Tuesday 1:05 P.M.: I went out after the last message, and I think we had our first frost, and I scraped the frost off my Volvo windows with one of the snow brushes and ice scrapers that I keep on the floor behind the driver's seat. I then went downtown, and I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue, and I sat out at various locations. I stopped by CVS during my walk, and I bought a Glade Oil plug-in refill Hawaiian Breeze for $2.50, a 7 ounce bag of black licorice twists for $1.19, and two packages of four buy one get one free of RTH made in China blunt tip chandelier bulbs 25 watts long life clear medium base B11 130 volts for $3.99 both packages of four plus .46 sales tax for $8.14 total. I will use the bulbs in my Rembrandt print of the Polish Rider that has a brass picture light over it and in the small swivel brass light hanging out from the wall to the right of my primary computer chair. After I completed my walk, I used the bathroom at the senior and the arts center. I then drove down by the waterfront and some of the regular fishermen are still fishing there, so I guess the fish are still biting. I then went by Putnam Trust Bank of New York on Mason Street. I next went by the Greenwich Hospital Thrift Shop, and everything is half price. I then went by the Greenwich Library, and I read the Greenwich Time. I next went by the Stop and Shop, and I bought four buy one get one free of Campbell's 18.8 ounce cans of New England clam chowder for $2.69 each two, a dented 16 ounce can of Bush's baked beans for .75, a dented 18.8 ounce can of Campbell's Chunky savory chicken with white and wild rice for .35, a 16 ounce bag of baby carrots for $1.50, fresh broccoli crowns at $1.99 a pound for $2.01, a 10 ounce bag of fresh spinach for $1.50, a old package of plum tomatoes for $1.06, and a 10 ounce box of fresh mushrooms for $2.29 for $14.91. I guess 1491 was the year that Columbus got hungry in Europe and decided to discover America, but quite frankly since the Phoenicians Phoenicians history lebanon middleeaset Phoenicia Arabic arabs covered the oceans for 3,000 years they might have gotten here before Columbus. Well, not much happening in the New York area, but they still think a sucker is born every minute, so they are still looking for low paid help, which frequently can barely afford to live here. In other words, frequently here, it looks like the Circus is in town. CIO
Note: <888> 11/09/04 Tuesday 4:10 A.M.: Needless to say just because I take local fitness walks on Greenwich Avenue does not mean that I am a security agent. Many people take fitness walks and great many of them walk in the New York Metropolitan area, so if one wants to be a security agent that walks try joining the www.goarmy.com or http://www.army.mil/ , of course that is only for the fit and young, and there are other alternative services like http://www.geocities.com/mikelscott/dod.htm , not to mention other opportunities world wide. I was once told that the French Foreign Legion http://www.foreignlegionlife.com/ or http://www.ambafrance-us.org/atoz/legion/index.asp will take people until age 45, and also one is eligible for French citizenship after three years of service but not guaranteed it, only on a case by case basis. Of course it might help if one spoke French. CIO
Note: <888> 11/09/04 Tuesday 3:45 A.M.: I just noticed that http://www.brinkshomesecurity.com/ is headquartered in Irving, Texas where http://www2.exxonmobil.com/ is headquartered, so we must have some local people here affiliated with them. However, Wells Fargo http://www.wellsfargo.com/ does not locally seem to be in the security business anymore, but locally we use to have http://www.wackenhut.com/ in Hartford, Connecticut and a number of locations in New York. Also locally in Greenwich, Connecticut beside the Greenwich Police Department http://www.greenwichct.org/PoliceDept/PoliceDept.asp , we also have Google Search: Kennedy Security near Greenwich, CT , which have local experience, and I have chatted with Roger Kennedy before about the possibility of alligators in this area during the warmer months. However, since Greenwich, Connecticut is a New England town, and since New Englanders are frequently thrifty and frugal like the Greenwich town motto, "Frugality and Fortune", we frequently rely on our wits and based on what our budget can afford. Of course the wealthier people also employ other private security agencies as well as various other government agencies which are too numerous to count. CIO
Note: <888> 11/09/04 Tuesday 3:20 A.M.: I found this web site advertising Thomas Cook http://www.cheap.co.uk/thomas-cooke-travel-agents/ , so I guess instead of being a Posh "Port Out Starboard Home" travel agency, they have gone into the low budget travel business. However for many years Thomas Cook did have an office on Railroad Avenue across from the Greenwich, Connecticut train station, but I have not looked recently to see if they are still there or not. CIO
Note: <888> 11/09/04 Tuesday 2:55 A.M.: After the last message, I picked up my mail. I received in the mail a package of from a relative that had a blue Alex Cannon from Rowayton, Connecticut denim shirt large size regularly $59.50 for $29.99 from T.J. Maxx www.tjmaxx.com style 498631 and a pair of Bungalow Brand waist 40 inch length 30 inches 70% Rayon 30% Polyester made in Jordan with a suggested retail price of $48. However, the pants are more summer pants, but the denim shirt with a pullover would be comfortable for winter. Of course, I could wear the summer pants with my long underwear like I frequently do with other summer pants. I removed the tags, and I hung them in my living room closet. I also received a 1 day pass for www.samsclub.com where they only charge one an additional 10%, however it is not good in Elmsford, New York which is my nearest Sams. I ate the other half of the 12 ounce can of CVS mixed nuts with a glass of iced tea. I went to bed at 4 P.M.. I was up at 11 P.M.. I ate breakfast of oatmeal, toast with strawberry jam, orange juice, vitamins, supplements, and coffee. I changed the four AAA batteries in my RCA remote control for my Proscan television in the bedroom. I put in two new AAA Energizer batteries, one Walgreen's heavy duty AAA battery, and a slightly used Energizer AAA battery. I still have spare batteries including three four packs of Duracell AAA batteries, but I did not feel like them using them for the remote control. I save them for my Kensington Wireless mouse. I move the wooden carved pineapple from the salad bowl on the dining room table, and I put the spare apartment keys and Volvo keys that were hanging on it in the relish dish next to the salad bowl. I put the wooden pineapple on the top shelf of the mahogany end table at the apartment entrance. When I knew Helen Kress Williams from Manhattan and Oyster Bay, Long Island, we visited her 40 acre estate in Oyster Bay, Long Island where the main house had burned down in 1926, and only the gate house remained. However, there was a brick wall around the property near Sagamore Hill the Teddy Roosevelt family home. By the garage she had her own gasoline pump with the Pegasus flying horse from Mobil www.mobil.com on it, but alas during the early 1970s oil embargo the pump did not work, so she had to buy gasoline at the Marathon http://www.marathon.com/ oil station just across the Queensborough Bridge as one left Manhattan. On either side of the brick entrance gate each side was topped with a large stone pineapple. She explained it was the Christian symbol of hospitality from the days when the Boston missionaries went to Hawaii. Of course during the wars of this past century the pine apple was also a slang term for a hand grenade which would not necessarily be Christian hospitality. Just like Cook's travel from England is named for Captain Cook, but most people forget that Captain Cook was eaten by the Hawaiians. I can find a web site for Cook's of England, so they must have gone the way of the Guni bird or been eaten. Back in April 1975, when I tried quitting smoking cigarettes, I tried camping out at the Conyers Farm lake and swimming in the brisk spring fed water. Some of the other local area residents were also doing the same thing, and I met Louis Rosenstiel whom owned the property and his daughter, and I visited in their home. His caretaker on the property Siegert told me there were bears on the property, and Louis Rosenstiel use to walk the property with three very large Russian wolf hounds which I would have thought he might have used to keep wolves away. Locally I have been told that a cousin of Paul Allen of Microsoft fame named Jim Allen is in partnership with Peter Brant at Conyers Farm, so possibly Paul Allen is involved in the $54 million dollar corporate purchase the 80 acre polo farm at Conyers Farm, which I think might have been the old Rynwood estate. I emailed Paul Allen about this property http://www.greenwichcountryestate.com/ that Preferred Properties http://www.pproperties.com/ was offering, and his people emailed me back, they would look into it. Knowing Greenwich Real Estate, it is my viewpoint that Round Hill Road real estate is more desirable than North Street real estate, but perhaps Paul Allen did not want to be a neighbor of Leona Helmsley. Whatever the case, the transaction was handled by Roger Pierson in private for the parties involved, so no one knows whom is behind the transaction. However, if one were living in either location, I would recommend a Russian wolf hound, since wolves and other wild life do not seem to respect private property rights. Of course if it were Paul Allen www.paulallen.com , he would be use to wildlife coming from the upper northwest which is full of wild life. CIO
