Along with an amazing line up of American Blues Music and Famous Detroit based Blues bands there will be a 5k race through Port Sanilac, a craft beer tent featuring Michigan breweries Atwater, Griffin Claw and Dragonmead, arts and craft vendors, 50/50 raffles throughout Friday and Saturday and food vendors including Big R BQ, Lucky Lunch and C & C Creation to satisfy your appetite.

The Festival has been creating Music in the Woods since 2003, a 3-day outdoor event combining nature, renewable energies, music and artwork, song and dance, on a small remote island in Lake Michigan. This is a juried Fine Art and Craft Fair and all artists are present. All work must be original and of the artist’s own creation. Painting, pottery, jewelry, photography, weaving, clothing, sculpture and other media will be available. Art fair attendees will also have the opportunity to bid in a silent auction on art pieces donated by many of the participating artists.

The Macker Basketball Tournament is designed so that anyone can play: male or female, young and old, short and tall, the most experienced or no experience at all. Make plans to be in the Sault, July 17-19, 2015 and be a part of this great community event.

Rendezvous in the Sault is a living history event that takes place on the very grounds where the first European settlement in Michigan was created. Over 115 visiting historical re-enactors, entertainers and merchants set up camps and displays with presentations and demonstrations on life in the period of 1668-1840.

The Powwow, or Jiigtamok, has historical, social and spiritual value to American Indian people. People participate in traditional dance and song, visit with family and friends, make new acquaintances and trade arts and crafts.
