African American Clergy Coalition, (AACC) is an organization primarily of African American clergy of predominantly African American congregations in the Greater Metropolitan Chicago Area. The AACC consist of hundreds of African American clergymen throughout Cook County and beyond. The Coalition is not limited to just African American Clergymen, but other non African American Clergymen who preside over diverse congregations.

The American Federation of Teachers is a national labor union representing more than 1.5 million pre-K through 12th-grade teachers; paraprofessionals and other school-related personnel; higher education faculty and professional staff; federal, state and local government employees; nurses and healthcare workers; and early childhood educators. The AFT is one of the leading unions in the country influencing policy and charting the course on public education.

The Alabama Coalition for Immigrant Justice is a grassroots, statewide network of individuals and organizations that works to advance and defend the rights of immigrants in Alabama. Our coalition consists of seven non-profit organizations, 15 grassroots immigrant community organizations, and hundreds of individual members.

Galvanized after the 2011 passage of Alabama’s HB 56, the nation’s harshest anti-immigrant legislation, ACIJ has become a major progressive organizing force both locally and nationally. ACIJ is creating a strong grassroots base through an unparalleled organizing and leadership development campaign in immigrant communities across the state, while building alliances with other marginalized communities and non-immigrant allies.

Alliance for Citizenship

The Alliance for Citizenship, the national coalition of hundreds of immigrant rights groups, labor unions, business, and community and civic organizations, is united to pass comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship for 11 million this year.

The mission of America’s Voice (AV) and America’s Voice Education Fund (AVEF) is to harness the power of American voices and American values to enact policy change that guarantees full labor, civil and political rights for immigrants and their families. We work in partnership with progressive, faith-based, labor, civil rights, and grassroots groups, networks and leaders to enact federal legislation that puts 11 million Americans-in-waiting on the road to full citizenship.

CASA in Action is a Latino and immigration advocacy organization based in Maryland and organizes immigrants in Virginia. CASA in Action facilitates greater electoral and campaign engagement by Latinos and immigrants by providing political education, candidate endorsements, and Get-Out-The Vote activities. CASA in Action is the regional partner to the national campaign for immigration reform and has hosted mega-rallies and marches in Washington, DC numbering from 25,000 to 500,000 across the past 7 years.

Immigration Reform For Nevada (IRN) was founded to collaborate with organizations throughout the US in support of comprehensive immigration reform. IRN was founded in February 2013 to work with other leaders for a fair and attainable immigration reform for all immigrants.

Interfaith Worker Justice (IWJ) advances the rights of workers by engaging diverse faith communities into action, from grassroots organizing to shaping policy at the local, state and national levels.

The Office of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation coordinates the advocacy efforts in the United States of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate on behalf of the interests of the poor and abandoned in the U.S. and 65 countries where the Oblates are in mission. Based in Washington, DC, the staff: Serves as a resource for members of the Oblate congregation; Supports the community organizing efforts of Oblates in the US; Coordinates the Faith Responsible Investing Program to advance just practices and policies by corporations in their worldwide operations; Collaborates with other NGOs to promote peace, justice, an ethic of consistent life, and the integrity of creation through our educational outreach. We also share concerns about the impact of policies on the poor with the US government, and international institutions such as the World Bank, the IMF, and the United Nations.

LCWR is the association of the leaders of congregations of Catholic women religious in the United States . The conference has more than 1500 members, who represent more than 80 percent of the 57,000 women religious in the United States . Founded in 1956, the conference assists its members to collaboratively carry out their service of leadership to further the mission of the Gospel in today’s world.

The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO is the chartered Central Labor Council (CLC) of the AFL-CIO in Los Angeles County. We are the second largest CLC in the country, representing over 300 unions and hundreds of thousands of working women and men throughout Los Angeles County. Our mission is to promote a voice for workers through organizing themselves into unions, building strong coalitions of labor, community, faith, and responsible businesses, engaging in both organizing and political campaigns, electing pro-union and pro-worker candidates and advancing public policies that support workers, families and local communities.

Make the Road New York (MRNY) was created in the fall of 2007 through the merger of Make the Road by Walking and the Latin American Integration Center, two of New York City’s most innovative and effective grassroots organizations. Maryknoll Global Concerns represents Maryknoll missioners, Catholic men and women who serve in approximately 30 countries around the world. The Global Concerns office provides advocacy and analysis on issues of importance to Maryknoll missioners and the people with whom they live and work.

Mi Familia Vota is a national non-profit organization that unites Latino, immigrant, and allied communities to promote social and economic justice through increased civic participation by promoting citizenship, voter registration, and voter participation. Mi Familia Vota is one of the premiere Latino civic engagement organizations in the country with operations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, and Texas.

National Action Network is one of the leading civil rights organizations in the Nation with chapters throughout the entire United States. Founded in 1991 by Reverend Al Sharpton, NAN works within the spirit and tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for one standard of justice, decency and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, religion, nationality or gender.

The National Congress of Black Women, Inc. is a 5013 non-profit organization dedicated to the educational, political, economic and cultural development of African American women and their families.

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms. Since its founding in 1893, NCJW has worked with immigrant communities in the US and continues to advocate for just and humane immigrant policies.

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR)—the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States—works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. Through its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations, NCLR reaches millions of Hispanics each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. To achieve its mission, NCLR conducts applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas—assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health. In addition, it provides capacity-building assistance to its Affiliates who work at the state and local level to advance opportunities for individuals and families.

The National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest professional employee organization, is committed to advancing the cause of public education. NEA’s 3 million members work at every level of education—from pre-school to university graduate programs. NEA has affiliate organizations in every state and in more than 14,000 communities across the United States.

The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) is the National Hispanic Evangelical Association. As the largest Latino Christian organization in America, NHCLC leads millions of Hispanic Christ followers through 40,118 evangelical congregations providing leadership, networking, fellowship, strategic partnerships and public policy advocacy platforms in seven focus areas: Life, Family, Great Commission, Stewardship, Education, Youth and Justice.

The National Latino Evangelical Coalition (NaLEC) seeks to respond to a real need for Latino and Latina Evangelical voices committed to the common good and justice in the public sphere. A national coalition with the objective of educating from a common good Latino-Evangelical perspective in the public sphere may increase the probability of the enactment for just legislations.

Founded in 1982, the National Immigration Forum advocates for the value of immigrants and immigration to our nation. In service to this mission, the Forum promotes responsible federal immigration policies, addressing today’s economic and national security needs while honoring the ideals of our Founding Fathers, who created America as a land of opportunity. For 30 years, the Forum has worked to advance sound federal immigration solutions through its policy expertise, communications outreach and coalition building work, which forges powerful alliances of diverse constituencies across the country to build consensus on the important role of immigrants in America.

The National Immigration Law Center envisions a society in which all people — regardless of race, gender, immigration or economic status — are treated fairly and humanely. NILC engages in policy analysis, litigation, education and advocacy, to achieve this vision. NILC plays a critical role within the movement for racial, economic and social justice for low-income immigrants.

The National Korean American Service & Education Consortium (NAKASEC) was founded in 1994 during a political turning point for Korean Americans. The LA Civil Unrest of April 29, 1992 and the subsequent anti-immigrant wave in Congress, precipitated by Prop 187, posed tremendous challenges to Korean Americans as people of color, working families and immigrants. The state of America at that time led a group of local grassroots community based organizations to come together to form NAKASEC with the purpose of projecting a national progressive voice on major civil rights and immigrant rights issues and promoting the full participation of Korean Americans with the greater goal of building a national movement for social change.

NETWORK is a progressive voice within the Catholic community that has been influencing Congress in favor of peace and justice for more than 40 years. Through lobbying and legislative advocacy, we strive to close the gap between rich and poor and to dismantle policies rooted in racism, greed and violence.

For 50 years, the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (“the RAC”) has been the hub of Jewish social justice and legislative activity in Washington, D.C. As the DC office of the Union for Reform Judaism, the RAC educates and mobilizes the Reform Jewish community on legislative and social concerns, advocating on more than 70 different issues, including immigration reform, economic justice, civil rights, religious liberty, Israel and more.

Since 1984 St. Camillus has been staffed by the Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province, a group of over three hundred religious brothers who staff parishes and urban centers, universities and soup kitchens all along the East Coast in different sites from Boston to Tampa. United We Dream is the largest immigrant youth-led organization in the nation, a powerful nonpartisan network made up of 52 affiliate organizations in 25 states. We organize and advocate for the dignity and fair treatment of immigrant youth and families, regardless of immigration status. UWD’s current priority is to win citizenship for the entire undocumented community and end senseless deportations and abuses. We seek to address the inequities and obstacles faced by immigrant youth and believe that by empowering immigrant youth, we can advance the cause of the entire community—justice for all immigrants.
