Adam Hills: The Last Leg

Sunday, 17 February 2013 New Series

After winning the hearts of fans in Britain, Australia will get to see the new series of Adam Hills’ UK-based panel show The Last Leg - a joyful, off-beat take on the events of the week which celebrates all that is best about Britain.
During the 2012 Paralympic Games, Adam, alongside co-hosts Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker, won fans and critical acclaim for their unique take on the event on British television. Now they return to British television to provide the same intelligent and alternative commentary on the significant moments of the past seven days. They will pull out the hidden gems, and give us weird and wonderful stories to enjoy as they celebrate what makes Britain unique.
A live studio audience and celebrity guests will join Adam, Alex and Josh on the ‘Last Leg’ sofa. Each week they will ask the all-encompassing question that brought so much attention through the Paralympic Games: Is It OK? Viewers at home and in the studio audience will be encouraged to ask this question about anything from the week, without fear of judgement. Our three hosts will attempt to step into the minefield of sometimes difficult and delicate areas and answer the curly questions with their own unique insight.
The Last Leg also includes studio challenges and recorded segments, including Alex Brooker’s continuing quest to become a participant in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio.
The studio-based discussions will be lively, and the opinions offered up warm and wholly original as the regular panel and celebrity guests wrap up the last seven days with their very particular take on The Last Leg.

Shaun Micallef's MAD AS HELL

Wednesday, 20 February 2013 New Series

Shaun Micallef is BACK and he's MADDER than HELL. We really should have changed the name but it'd cost us a FORTUNE in letterheads and we'd have to change the show GRAPHICS which also runs into MONEY. Anyway, he's back FOR A SECOND SERIES - that's the POINT. And THIS TIME he KNOWS what he's DOING (slightly).
Nominated for an AACTA and HAILED by Fairfax Media as the '20th WORST show ON Australian TELEVISION.
