5. Dissemination Material Release Security Policy


The Security Policy has been developed in consultation with the User Group members of the Consortium.

Security sensitivity issues are dealt with in Section 5 of the Description of Work document and it is not intended to duplicate the information therein, but to consolidate areas of security and confidentiality, which have been identified during the work of the User Group and regular consortium meetings.

A Security and Confidentiality Committee has been set up as part of the project with a membership representing partners from Law Enforcement, academia and commercial partners.

The Security and Confidentiality Committee consists of



  • Tony Boxall - Metropolitan Police, (Law Enforcement), Security and Confidentiality Manager WMP / Europol (Law Enforcement)

  • Sarah Johnson Mitchell - SHU Project Manager (Academic)

  • Richard Leary - FPL Exploitation Manager, (Commercial)

Four distinct areas are covered under this Committee's remit:
