offered internationally (EU)

The professional bachelor programme “Business logistics” offered by the Faculty of Engineering Economics of Riga Technical University has been basically benchmarked with similar programmes of tertiary educational establishments of the European Union. Similar programmes are offered by:

Oxford Brookes University (United Kingdom) (Appendix 13)

Aston University (United Kingdom) (Appendix 16).

• 
  Nominal duration of studies is generally the same as in the Programme offered by RTU –3 - 4 years;
  
• 
  Writing and defence of the Bachelor thesis is scheduled for the final semester;
  
• 
  The RTU Programme and those offered by tertiary institutions internationally are similar as to their value in credit points.
  

The Programme also includes similar subjects, e.g., information technologies, business communication, economics of entrepreneurship, accounting, mathematics, statistics, marketing etc.
