Configure the Ethernet port mode.
The Ethernet port mode is configured by the items in the Device
Settings menu Duplex and Ignore GARP.
•
Duplex: Duplex enables or disables Ethernet speed and mode negotiation. Select Auto unless the Ethernet port speed must beset to 10 MB/s or 100 MB/s. Select 10BT Full for 10 MB/s and
100BT Full for 100 MB/s.
•
Ignore GARP: GARP requests handling. The default can be overridden by pressing the Select key, which places a check mark in the box.

Enter Provisioning Parameters Server URL, Protocol, Device ID,
and Password.
The next four tables show menu items in the Device Settings menu that apply to configuring the Provisioning parameters.

Device ID Enter the Device ID used by the provisioning server for authentication of the IP Phone 1140E.
Note 1: TFTP does not require a Device ID. If FTP or HTTP
are used, enter the information fora Device ID
