Android Market – Tablets and Droid Phones
Download eBooks, Apps, and more to use in your classroom. All you need is a Google Account (free) to access the Android Market.

Access the URL above and sign-in with your Google username/password. If you do not have a Google account, you can create one for free. Note that you can then use Google Docs, Google Calendar, create a YouTube channel for uploading videos, create a Website, and MORE!
Google has excellent collaboration and learning tools to use in your class.
eBooks in the Android Market
Sign-in to the URL above. Then you will see tabs with music, apps, books, movies, and more.
Click the Books tab
Categories are on the left side of the screen. Once a category is selected, you have the option to view free or paid items.
Note that you can also search for a specific title or author.
When you find what you are looking for: download
The downloaded content will appear in your Android Market Library.
Open your Library to find your latest downloads.
Click READ to view your digital content. The great thing about the Google/Android Book Market is that you can read the content from your computer. You do not have to have a different device such as the Droid Phone or Android Tablet.
Once, you click “read”, you will be prompted to read from your computer, the web, or your google device.
Apps in the Android Market
In the Android Market, click the Apps tab.
Find the category you are looking for (EDUCATION).
You can then search and install apps from either the paid tab or the free tab. There are lots of free tools that you can use in your classroom.
NOTE: You must have an Android tablet or Droid phone to install the apps. It will require that you register your device just as the iStore does for Apple products. If you do not own one of these devices, you will get the message to the left.
