BRUNNER Claims Best of Show and Nine Other Awards at 2017 Atlanta ADDY Awards Show BRUNNER’s work for Field & Stream, YellaWood and Huffy claim top honors


Atlanta, GA. (March 7, 2017) – Fresh off creating AdWeek’s #1 Super Bowl ad, Atlanta agency BRUNNER continued its momentum by dominating the 2017 Atlanta ADDY Awards Show. The agency, with offices in both Pittsburgh and Atlanta, claimed ten awards, including Best of Show for their Field & Stream Seasoning Bighorn illustration. This is the agency’s second Best of Show win over the last three years.

Using Field & Stream’s rubs, cures and spices, Brunner turned popular game animals into works of art. The ads recreated five animals, including a trophy bighorn, using nothing but seasoning to capture the beautiful features of the animals.

Field & Stream, known more for its outdoor gear, also offers many seasoning products. This series of ads helped increase awareness of these products via the brand’s social channels, by celebrating their customers’ love of game hunting and curing.

“This show had some very tough competition this year,” said Randall Hooker, VP Creative Director in Brunner’s Atlanta office. “We were up against some large clients with large budgets, so it just goes to show that with the right idea, craft and execution, it’s still possible to own the night.”

In addition to Best of Show, the Field & Stream Seasoning series won gold for both art direction and illustration in a series. Four out of the five illustrations in the series won gold for single illustration. Brunner also won silver for their Field & Stream’s Fish Tales poster series.

Huffy and YellaWood – two long-standing Brunner clients – also received accolades. Huffy won bronze for their online Grownup Problem videos, and YellaWood was honored a bronze award for their Trade Sawdust & Engraving print ad.
