Poke fun at Georgia's favorite first Republican Lt. Governor at the Fourth Annual TEAM Georgia Charity Roast
Think politics are no laughing matter? Think again! TEAM Georgia, the safe and sober driving coalition, will put Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle in the hot seat Feb. 26, at the Westin Buckhead for its annual roast and silent auction.
Georgia's leading political figures and media celebrities will hold Cagle over the flames to raise funds for TEAM Georgia and the Capt. Herb Emory Victim's Assistance Fund, which supports those who have lost a parent in an impaired driving crash. The evening will culminate with the presentation of the Capt. Herb Emory Victim's Assistance Fund to two brothers, who lost their mother Alberta Tate when she was hit and killed by a drunk driver in 2006. One of the brothers, 11 at the time of the accident, remains a paraplegic from injuries he sustained in the crash that took his mother’s life.
Tickets to the charity roast are $100. For sponsorships, log onto www.teamgeorgia.net for more info.
