In January of 2009, Newell Rubbermaid, Inc opened its Southeast Distribution center in Union City, GA, just south of Atlanta. Within the first 3 months or operations, Newell Rubbermaid moved 3 distribution centers into this one location. Today, the SEDC ships product for three of Newell Rubbermaid’s Global Business Units with room to grow. The DC is capable of shipping full pallets, cases, and split case orders throughout the world.

• 7,000+ active SKUs

• Carton sortation system

• PTL system with approximately 3500 lights

• 50% of volume is split/repack cases

• Runs on SAP interfaced with WMS
