Bat Echolocation & Social Calls – 18th to 20th July 2017
‘An event aimed at those looking to develop their essential skills’
We are pleased to offer you this event, and in doing so an excellent location, NTS Threave Bat Reserve. In addition to its beautiful and historic surroundings, NTS Threave (near Castle Douglas) is probably the best site for studying bats in Scotland (7 species recorded/roosting during 2016). Threave is ideally situated for those travelling from either Scotland, England or Northern Ireland.
This event will offer a range of key learning opportunities for delegates wishing to gain a greater understanding of bat echolocation and social calls. Our presenters are all very experienced in delivering bat-related training and this event is sure to be both educational and enjoyable.
Course Tutor: Neil Middleton (co-author of ‘Social Calls of the Bats of Britain & Ireland’)
