We are hoping to paint the nursery this Thursday, January 21, at 9:00 a.m. Please talk to Jessica or Laurie if you are available to help. Senior Fellowship please note: The Winter Picnic scheduled for January 13 has been changed to Friday, January 29, at noon. Please mark your calendars for March 5-6. We will be having a candidating weekend with Scott Kaczorowski. On Saturday, March 5, there will be an early session from 2-4 p.m., as well as an evening session from 5-8 p.m. that will include a game night. Scott will preach on Sunday and there will be a light luncheon following the service. The Mission Committee announces two projects for the winter months: Collecting coffee for the Haven of Rest and Comforters and Blankets for MCC (see below). Please place your donations on the Mission Table in the Lower Foyer. Comforters and Blankets: Give hope and comfort. A handmade comforter provides not only warmth but also a tangible message to people that their needs are not forgotten. Use new or nearly new material Single/twin size preferred (approx. 60x80”); double/full size accepted (approx. 82x90”) Winter weight preferred (please use new quilt batting) Knotted with crochet cotton (not more than 4-8” apart) Purchased blankets (twin or full size) and new, flat twin sheets (for hospitals, schools, and orphanages) are also needed.
