Atlantic Records / Artist Publishing Group (APG) artist A R I Z O N A have officially announced today’s release of “CROSS MY MIND,” the extraordinary new mixtape from the songwriter/producer trio with one of the biggest streaming success stories of the past two years. “CROSS MY MIND” is available now at all music retailers and streaming services. Listen here: https://Atlantic.lnk.to/CMM.
“CROSS MY MIND” gathers five all-new versions of the title track, a fan favorite originally featured on A R I Z O N A’s breakthrough debut album, “GALLERY,” which is also available now at all DSPs and streaming services. Highlights include a stellar new take, “Cross My Mind Pt. 2 (feat. Kiiara)” that sees A R I Z O N A joined by their multi-platinum certified Atlantic Records labelmate Kiiara, as well as the writing demo and a live rendition (see attached track listing). A R I Z O N A is currently poised to head out on their first-ever headline tour this fall. Fully sold out more than three months before it embarks, the trek begins September 5th at Toronto, ON’s Adelaide Hall and then travels through early October (see attached itinerary). A R I Z O N A will also appear at the 2017 Budweiser Made In America Festival, set for September 2nd in Philadelphia, PA. For complete details, news updates, and ticket availability please visit thisisarizonamusic.com.
A R I Z O N A has spent much of 2017 traveling North America on a wide-ranging series of tours including dates alongside COIN and Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness as well as jam-packed performances to massive crowds at festivals including Hangout Music Fest, BottleRock Napa Valley, Governors Ball Music Festival, Firefly Music Festival and a recent epic performance at Chicago IL’s Lollapalooza.
A R I Z O N A – who had already achieved over 500,000 track equivalents in U.S. sales and streaming consumption before the release of their debut album – are undeniable streaming superstars with over 10 million monthly listeners via Spotify alone. Released May 19th, “GALLERY” is proving among 2017’s biggest global debuts, now boasting over 350 million worldwide streams and counting. The album showcases the acclaimed first single, “Electric Touch.” Co-written by A R I Z O N A with acclaimed singer-songwriter Julia Michaels (Ed Sheeran, Gwen Stefani, Selena Gomez), the track has been hailed by Ones To Watch as “an infectious slice of electronic-tinged pop,” with Dancing Astronaut raving, “(‘Electric Touch’) begins with a series of piano chord progressions in accordance with Zach Hannah’s soothing vocals, and then builds into a flurry of moving percussion, gentle guitar riffs, and alluring synths. The lyrics are the cherry on top of this piece…’Electric Touch’ pulls at the heartstrings.” “Electric Touch” is also joined by a touching companion video streaming now at A R I Z O N A’s official YouTube channel.
A R I Z O N A made their Atlantic/APG debut with last summer’s “I Was Wrong.” The track’s official companion video – directed by A R I Z O N A – debuted exclusively at NYLON, which declared the clip to be “a sublime, muted package…the brilliance of the song lies within its humble admission of wrongdoing and its gentle delivery.” The clip is streaming now at A R I Z O N A’s official YouTube channel; “I Was Wrong” – and the equally popular “I Was Wrong (Robin Schultz Remix)” – are both available now at all DSPs and streaming services.
A R I Z O N A has proven a planet wide viral phenomenon little more than a year after their initial foundation. The trio has created major waves with their ingenious brand of contemporary electronic dance pop, a lush merger of sonic and lyrical approaches that span generation and genre to form melodic groove-laden soundscapes like none other. A R I Z O N A first came together while attending music schools in Boston, their shared interests in production and songwriting uniting them as much as their mutual New Jersey heritage. Songs like “Where I Wanna Be,” “People Crying Every Night,” and “Let Me Touch Your Fire” soon drew millions of multi-platform streams as well as a fervent online following from London to Los Angeles, Stockholm to Singapore. Signed to Atlantic/APG in late 2015, A R I Z O N A have spent much of the time since traversing the country in an old Toyota which they have reconditioned into a state-of-the-art mobile recording studio, immersed in the creation of what is truly an extraordinary and unprecedented debut album.
A R I Z O N A is: Nathan Esquite, David Labuguen, and Zachary Hannah.
