This Project act as both inventory management for the Company as well as a Market to Customer. It involves a system for a retailer seeking to acquire and maintain a proper merchandise assortment while ordering, shipping, handling, and related costs are kept in check. Thus, management of the inventories, with the primary objective of determining/controlling stock levels within the distribution system, functions to balance the need for product availability against the need for minimizing stock holding and handling costs with JAVA and SQL SERVER used as front-end and back-end technologies, respectively. .
This project aims at developing character recognition software system to perform Document Image Analysis which transforms documents in paper format to electronic format. For this process Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is chosen as main fundamental technique to recognize characters. The OCR system can process documents in languages like Bangla, Devanagari, Malayalam, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Gurmukhi, Oriya, Tibetan, Boro, Urdu, Assamese, Marathi and Manipuri. The main objective of this application is to enhance the existing OCRs in terms of robustness and speed for newer languages and scripts and also development of pro-type OCR for one Indian script on mobile platform.
