Statement of Faith

1. [[@Headword:Bible]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writing and that they are the supreme and final authority of faith and life. {{field-off:topic}}

2. [[@Headword:God]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach one God eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit. {{field-off:topic}}

3. [[@Headword:Jesus]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man. {{field-off:topic}}

4. [[@Headword:mankind]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and, thereby, incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God. {{field-off:topic}}

5. [[@Headword:justification]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. {{field-off:topic}}

6. [[@Headword:Jesus]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach the resurrection of the crucified body of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there where, on our behalf, He ministers as High Priest, Intercessor and Advocate. {{field-off:topic}}

7. [[@Headword:second coming]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach the personal, bodily visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ. {{field-off:topic}}

8. [[@Headword:Holy Spirit]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again in the Holy Spirit, and, thereby, become children of God. {{field-off:topic}}

9. [[@Headword:resurrection]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the conscious everlasting punishment of the lost. {{field-off:topic}}

10. [[@Headword:security]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that a true believer is eternally secure, that he/she cannot lose his/her salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of his/her fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of our Heavenly Father. {{field-off:topic}}

11. [[@Headword:Holy Spirit]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that the Holy Spirit is a person, is God, and possesses all divine attributes. He dwells in all believers, baptizes and seals all believers at the time of their salvation, and fills them in response to confession of sin and yieldedness. {{field-off:topic}}

12. [[@Headword:believers’ goal]]{{field-on:topic}}We teach that it is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling Spirit. {{field-off:topic}}

Membership Covenant With 365 Church

Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior, and having been baptized, and being in agreement with 365/WorshipLife Church’s vision, purpose, mission, and structure, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the 365/WorshipLife Church family. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the members of 365/WorshipLife Church to do the following:

1. I will protect the unity of my church…

…by following and supporting the leaders of 365/WorshipLife Church (Hebrews 13:7, 17)

…by acting in love towards other members (Proverbs 15:1, 18:19; Romans 14:19; I Peter 1:22)

…by refusing to gossip or listen to gossip about another person (Proverbs 11:13, 16:24, 18:8, 20:19; Ephesians 4:29)

2. I will share in the responsibility of my church…

…by praying for its health, protection and growth (Colossians 4:2; I Thessalonians 1:1-2)

…by inviting the unchurched to attend services and activities (Colossians 4:3-6; Luke 14:23)

…by warmly welcoming those who visit (Romans 15:7)

3. I will serve the ministry of my church…

…by developing a servant’s heart (I Corinthians 12:25-27; Galatians 6:10; Philippians 2:3-4)

…by discovering and/or developing my gifts and talents (I Corinthians 12:7-11; I Peter 4:10)

…by being equipped to serve my pastors and leaders (Ephesians 4:11-16; Ephesians 4:11-12

4. I will support the testimony of my church…

…by living as a Christ-follower (Ephesians 4:22-24; II Corinthians 5:9; Philippians 1:27)

…by faithfully attending corporate worship and small group (Hebrews 10:25)

…by giving the first fruits of what I earn and receive (Proverbs 22:9; I Corinthians 16:2; Leviticus 27:30)
