PRESENTATION OPTIONS:

  • Diorama – model representing a scene with three-dimensional figures




  • Mind Map – all aspects of the Mind Map MUST be visible & easy to read from throughout the classroom




  • Poster – all aspects of the poster MUST be visible & easy to read from throughout the classroom




  • PowerPoint




  • Prezi




  • Video – interview, re-enactment

* You are NOT limited to these options, this is meant to get you started. If you have other ideas for your presentation, you need to run them by me first.


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Presentations MUST have at least 5 pictures for EACH topic – make your visuals awesome

- each picture needs to have a BRIEF description, whether verbally &/or visually


  • Presentations MUST include a class hand-out/guide – summarize nicely & neatly – BIG PICTURE/main ideas *

- hand-out/guide MUST be no longer than 1 page


- “divide & conquer” is not allowed … one student cannot present the ENTIRE content of one topic


  • Presentation CANNOT be longer than 20 minutes




  • You MUST be present for your presentation to receive the group grade *

- if a group member is not present for their group’s presentation, it will be the responsibility of the absent

group member to present the entire project.




  • Your group will be held to high standards & expectations during your daily CPU lab research time – “participation & productivity” will be graded


SUGGESTIONS:

  • Exchange phone numbers & email addresses with your group members so you can communicate outside of school







  • Be creative & have fun!




  • As you research & create a presentation, focus on the BACKGROUND (tell the story of how we got to this point in the war, fit the topic into WWI) & BIG PICTURE IMPORTANCE (significance – why is it important? why are we learning about it?)
