FCCA Platinum Group
The FCCA Platinum Group made its annual visit to Nassau on Saturday 23rd January 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The group participated in new tours which included Paradise Ocean Sport Total Package, Blue Hole Water Sport, Different of Nassau, and Atlantis Water Sports.

New Security Building
A new security building is now located on the pier. This new building provides a much better and more efficient clearance of passengers on mega vessels like the Oasis.
Employment of New Security Twenty one (21) new security Officers have now been employed to provide a more efficient and immediate clearance of passengers as they embarked the ships
Cruise Ships Quarterly Arrivals
Preliminary figures have indicated that during the first quarter 1st January to 31st March, 2010, the numbers in cruise passenger arrivals to the Bahamas increased by 9%.
Highest Quarterly Percentage In Passenger Arrivals: Royal Caribbean Cruise Line recorded the highest percentage of 58.5% in passenger arrivals for the first quarter of 2010, a significant increase.
FCCA Poster Competition
The Bahamas finished 2nd place in the recently held FCCA Poster Competition. Mr. Sebastian Andrews of St. Francis de Sales, (Senior Division) Abaco, received a cheque in the amount of $1,500.00. The School also received

Meeting on board The Majesty of the Seas & The Monarch of the Seas To Discuss Visitor Safety Matters:
A meeting was coordinated by the Ministry of Tourism during the month of February on board the Majesty of The Seas and the Monarch of the Seas to discuss cruise passenger safety matters. Persons present were the Captains and Crew from both ships, members of the RBPF, Cruise Development and Visitor Relations
Staff.
