| NOTICE TO BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP
WATER UTILITY CUSTOMERS Beginning Monday, April 2, 2012 the Township of Barnegat Water Department will be conducting the Spring Fire Hydrant Flushing Program. This procedure is necessary to ensure water quality, remove sediment build-up from water mains and check fire hydrants for proper operation. During this period, a temporary discoloration and loss of water pressure may be noticed. Do not be alarmed. The water should clear up by allowing your tap to run for a short period of time.
