New export contracts of Ericsson Nikola Tesla worth 55 million kunas In an almost festive atmosphere Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the Golden Key winner as the best Croatian exporter among large companies, signed in Sarajevo new contracts with BH Telecom, the company's longstanding business partner. Signatories to the contracts were Nedžad Rešidbegović, CEO of BH Telecom and Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The subject matter of the contracts is expansion and modernization of GSM network of this leading B&H operator, and the contracts are worth 55 million kunas. The projects performance should start immediately. Nedžad Rešidbegović, CEO of BH Telecom said: " Today's signature to the contract between BH Telecom d.d. Sarajevo and the respectable company Ericsson Nikola Tesla Zagreb is (part of the) implementation of BH Telecom's business policy relating to the development and modernization of BH Mobile network. We are convinced that BH Telecom service users will recognize the importance of this partnership that should offer them higher accessibility and coverage“. „I would like to express my satisfaction with the continued cooperation of Ericsson Nikola Tesla and BH Telecom in mobile telephony. These contracts open wide possibilities for further joint projects with BH Telecom as our strategic customer in further modernization of mobile network in Bosnia and Herzegovina. BH Telecom will offer to its end users high quality mobile service and Ericsson Nikola Tesla will thus confirm its leading position among the communication solutions, service and equipment providers in mobile telephony and system integration area,“ said Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla after signature on contract. "The contracts concluded with BH Telecom give a new dimension to our collaboration. It is an expected sequence in the continuous BH Telecom network modernization and development. These projects give the users access to new technologies and functionalities in mobile telephony so that quick and high quality communication and access to information any place and any time can be achieved", said Jagoda Barać, ETK Director of Sales and Marketing in Neighboring Countries. Once the stated projects are accomplished BH Telecom shall be completely ready for further mobile networks access technologies (UMTS/HSDPA) that will provide higher access rates and new services.
