Chief, Security, Operations and Training Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge


Hand selected as Chief, Security and Operations Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge.  Developed and implemented the first operational security support team, in a combat zone for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).  Subject Matter Expert on assigned individual and crew served weapons.  Identified critical weapon systems during the establishment of DISO-A.  Weapons knowledge, skill, and experience ensured the weapons and procurement procedures for DISO-A resulted in a cost savings of over $100K.  Lead for aligning current and future weapons requirements.  Officer in Charge of weapons training and qualification for assigned personnel and consolidated Intelligence Community cell requirements.  Conducted small arms training for all DIA in country personnel resulting in 100% qualification.  Performed depot level weapons repair and maintenance on all DIA weapons in Afghanistan.   Provided physical security and protection for personnel, property, and information for DISO-A within country.  Lead for operational planning, recon, and execution of convoy security in support of DISO-A requirements with CENTCOM, CJTF-82/101, US Embassy, etc.  Conducts advanced site and route coordination and surveys preceding missions.  Accompany all movements of personnel and classified materials in and around theater.  Conducted combat missions as directed. Trained and qualified SOCCENT, SOCOM, CENTCOM, 6th Air Wing personnel on small arms to heavy weapon systems.  Operated firing ranges, demonstrated proficiency in applicable weapons systems, and associated equipment.  Inspected, repaired, and maintained weapon systems.  Disassembled weapons, analyzed malfunctions, adjusted weapons parts and operating mechanisms, fabricated small parts, repair parts, test fired and bore sight guns, and performed other maintenance functions on various weapon systems.  Conducted weapon skills enhancement drills for light and heavy weapon systems.  Worked with D-cell instructors to test and evaluate new weapon systems.

U.S. Army Central Command, Doha Qatar: Conducted protective and security operations for distinguished visitors, dignitaries, and senior government officials.  Developed and implemented policies, operational orders, and after action reports.  Successfully trained PSD personnel on mission planning, weapons firing, route reconnaissance, communications, and security procedures.

Department of Homeland Security, Boston Mass (2002-Present)

Trained over 3,000 security personnel from Homeland Security and other federal agencies, including FBI, Customs, DEA, ATF, and Secret Service in Anti-terrorism tactics, techniques, and procedures.  Trained personnel in identifying terrorist threat, provided weapons training, and taught methods on airport security and site advances.  Additionally, trained security personnel throughout Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Field Air Marshal


Developed Use of Force, Firearms policy, procedures and tactics for Air Marshals.  Tactics and techniques were used and implemented during world-wide operations.  Additionally, the developed policy, procedures, and tactics were incorporated and used at the Academy level as well.
