PRIMARY FUNCTION(S)

The Net-centric Integration Group serves as a center for development of network-centric software tools based on Service-Oriented Architecture and leveraging the Dept. of Defense Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES). Our customer is using Web 2.0 technologies to expose data from a diverse set of external sensors and data feeds, develop operationally relevant mission and cross-mission services, and integrate these into next-generation situational awareness displays for senior government leadership. Proof-of-concept objectives include exposure of sensor data in common formats, machine-to-machine messaging, development of services that can be composed into user-defined processing chains and development of advanced thin client, web-browser-based situational awareness displays.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The candidate will develop, integrate and test solutions to for several inter-related projects. Work will include developing advanced SOA-based applications and services that are secure, assured, and robust in a variety of challenged networking environments. Candidate will work with project teams to produce, test, deliver and support code for research initiatives, internal project collaborations and external project deliverables in operationally relevant environments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with two years directly related experience.

: Excellent programming skills with Java, JavaScript, and modern software development tools are required.

: Experience with XML and Eclipse is required. Demonstrated understanding of SOA concepts and technologies such as WSDL, SOAP, Camel, and JMS is required.

Contracting Administrative Support

PRIMARY FUNCTION(S)

Provide administrative and data management support to the Chief, Contracts Division (ESC/HSIK) and his staff at Peterson AFB, to include transmitting documents and data files; general support for business meetings, and other events.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

: Provide support to the Chief of Contracting and 22-member Contracting Branch including geographically separated unit at Hanscom AFB, MA.

: Maintain calendar for the Branch Chief.

: Manage branch's government timecard program.

: Schedule meetings and make conference room arrangements.

: Provide receptionist services for the Branch Chief.

: Prepare staff summary sheets and correspondence.

: Perform information management tasks including management of paper and electronic files and documentation.

: Manage suspense program for the Division.

: Track the status and due dates of military and civilian evaluations and performance feedbacks.

: Prepare travel arrangements in the Defense Travel System (DTS), visit requests, overseas visit messages as required.

: Maintain the HSIK shared drive in order for programs have access to needed files. This requires that moving only those files which pertain to each program so that HSIK-sensitive files are not available.

: Coordinate with prime contractors to insure that documents are expedited in a timely fashion and that signatures are obtained and documented for distribution in order to get requirements on contract.

: Interface with both internal Government counterparts as well as external contractors to coordinate the implementation of HSIK processes.

: Utilize the SENSORNET website to track, download, distribute, and maintain SENSOR documents; also train HSIK personnel as needed.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: Seven (7) years experience

Provide the full range of executive administrative support for the Capabilities Branch Chief and the Operations Management Branch Chief.

Game Simulation Engineer

A software engineer is needed to assist with the development of performance assessment tools for an experimental immersive simulation (game) for law enforcement.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

These performance assessment tools will help analyze player's game play and associated decision making process, identify player's strengths and weaknesses, and produce data visualizations of analysis results for presentation back to the player. Candidates must have a strong understanding of statistics, be familiar with best practices for object oriented software development and have a demonstrated proficiency with quickly prototyping abstract concepts. Additionally, candidates must be able to self start and work efficiently in an exploratory environment.

Provide acquisition program management support to the Government program manager by developing overarching DoD 5000 series-required documentation to support comprehensive project management acquisition strategy planning, development and execution to achieve program objectives
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

: Create and assist in developing acquisition program documentation required by DoD 5000 series to support program efforts and acquisition milestones/reviews, applying knowledge of streamlined acquisition policies/procedures and program management skills.

The Desktop Imaging and Deployment Technician will assist in creating and maintaining tools and scripts for the deployment of Windows desktop images using the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit. The candidate will also be responsible for testing and documenting desktop images and the deployment process.

- Test and maintain Windows 7 images using Microsoft's Deployment Toolkit (MDT)

- Maintain scripts for image deployment and User State Migration (USMT)
