The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards announces the 2012 Winners at Palm Beach Cannes, France. Conspiração Filmes and Vale (Brazil) win big in Cannes: Grand Prix and Gold for ‘A Day of Reflection’ and Gold for ‘Our History’.
Cannes, France - October 18, 2012. The 3rd Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards revealed this year’s best corporate films, on-line media and TV Documentaries at the 2012 Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner Thursday, October 18th at Palm Beach Cannes. More than 270 guests representing producers, film makers, marketing and communication professionals from corporations, public relations agencies, the public sector, and TV stations travelled from all over the world to join the celebrations.
Out of a record number of entries, 666 (over 60% more than in 2011), from 35 countries worldwide, 129 productions were awarded the coveted Dolphin Trophies in Gold, Silver and Black in 36 categories. The winners of this outstanding 3rd edition represent countries like Australia, Russia, The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Morocco, Turkey, Austria, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, UK, Brazil, Mexico, the United States of America…
"A Day of Reflection" - Grand Prix Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2012
Vale and Conspiração Filmes are the big winners of the 3rd Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards with 1 Gold Dolphin awarded in the category A2 Marketing Communication to "Our History", 1 Gold Dolphin Trophy in category A5 Integrated Communication and ultimately the Grand Prix to "A Day of Reflection". Developed in just 2 weeks by Conspiração Filmes for Vale (the second biggest mining company in the world), "A Day of Reflection" is part of a larger integrated campaign dedicated to the dialog between the company’s leaders and their teams on the issue of health and safety. The film proposes with great emotion and sincerity a deep reflection on the value of our lives, within a series of real testimonials from people of different ages, nationalities, races and professions, answering one simple question: "How would you feel if a loved one didn’t come back home? "

Awards Day and Gala Dinner
During the Awards Day the guests had the unique opportunity to discover the latest trends in the industry as all the films in competition were presented in the Cannes Corporate Media Center, sponsored by Fujitsu. Later on, the guests met and networked during the Champagne Welcome Open Air while following the sundown over the Bay of Cannes and the Islands of Lérins. Dr. Conrad Heberling, Professor at the Konrad Wolf Academy for Film and Television in Potsdam, and Festival Director Alexander V. Kammel, Filmservice International, hosted the Awards Ceremony and presented the Dolphin Trophies to the happy winners. The Grand Prix was awarded by the 2012 Jury President, Phillipe Rispal, Senior Press Officer of the European Central Bank. 2 times Oscar Winner and Founder of the Se-ma-for Production Company, Zbigniew ŻMUDZKI (Poland), awarded the Black Dolphins in the Production Arts & Crafts categories, while the Black Dolphin for the "Best Director" was granted by la Cie des Réals, the French Association of Film Directors.
The winners were also honored with special designed certificates, following an exceptional collaboration with the Graphics and Advertising Department at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria.
The music during the Gala Diner was provided by the amazing Femous artists Célia Mara (Brazil), The Snow Owl (Columbia/USA), Wolfo Schmidt (Austria), Maria Petrova (Bulgaria) and DJne Falangee (Austria) who entertained the guests with energetic vibes and intensive moods during the Awards Ceremony and the Dolphin Lounge.
