THE RCGA GOLF CARD- HELPING BRING GOLFERS & GOLFER LOYALTY TO YOUR COURSE THE RCGA GOLF CARD: The RCGA Golf Card is a loyalty program developed specifically for the golf industry, which promises to bring golfers to your course and keep them coming back. By combining the best loyalty marketing tactics with the benefits of discount savings, the RCGA has developed and fine-tuned the RCGA Golf Card into a revenue-generating tool your course can’t afford to pass up. HOW THE RCGA GOLF CARD CAN HELP YOU: Last year, 75 golf courses across Ontario used the state-of-art, turnkey, fully-electronic RCGA Golf Card to:
- Trial green fee vouchers will attract golfers to your course during off- peak periods.
- By offering golfers a free round after every five rounds paid, golfers will keep coming back to activate their reward.
- Using easy-to-use analytics and target marketing tools the RCGA Golf Card program enables you to track golfer demographics at your facility.
- The RCGA Golf Card program enables you to send e-newsletters directly to the inbox of golfers who have played your facility.
More than 200 courses are expected to participate in the RCGA Golf Card program, as it expands to Western Canada for 2008. WHAT WILL THE PROGRAM COST? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! As an added benefit for being an RCGA member course you pay nothing. No participation fee, no transaction fee and no hidden fees of any kind. You will be provided with all IT Software/ hardware needs and a complete signage kit. In addition, RCGA Cards are provided on a no-cost/ consignment basis. Courses are only billed $22.95 for each card they sell, leaving $2 from the sale of each card for staff performance incentives. ADD ROUNDS WITH THE AIR MILES® REWARDS PROGRAM With the RCGA’s alliance with the AIR MILES® Rewards program, RCGA Golf Card holders enjoy the added benefit of redeeming their AIR MILES reward miles for free rounds of golf at any of our participating courses. And, of course, courses are paid for those rounds by the RCGA and AIR MILES. With more than 9.5 million AIR MILES collectors across Canada this opportunity represents thousands of additional rounds being played this season at participating RCGA Golf Card courses across Ontario and Western Canada For example, 10,000 AIR MILES rewards miles could easily give a golfer as many as 20 free rounds; letting them play for free all season long. CAN A SEMI-PRIVATE/ PRIVATE FACILITY PARTICIPATE? Members can be your best salespeople. Why not make it easier for them to bring guests to your golf course and/ or entertainment facilities? The RCGA Golf Card is an idea tool to help reward your members who bring guests to your facility. Courses currently participating in the RCGA Golf Card program range from a 9 hole executive facility with a weekend green fee rate of $26, to high-end resort courses that cost more than $150 a round.
