World War II Writing Prompt In an effort to avoid a repeat of the horrors of World War I, the United States in the 1920’s and 1930’s followed a policy of isolationism which was best exemplified by the Neutrality Acts. However, as events in Europe and the Far East became more indicative of another war, the U.S. and specifically F.D.R began to move away from isolationism and towards intervention. In a brief essay, describe specific actions or speeches by the Congress and the President which indicated this shift towards intervention.
