macks were thick after 10 amby boballen75 » Wed Feb 07, 2007 12:48 am got to the pier around 9 and it was slow until about 10 when the macks showed up real thick. i lost a yo zuri and a xrap when a nice guy next to me offered some wire. could not get any hits with wire. wondering now if some heavy mono leader would work. neways went back to straight line to lure and could see 2 or 3 macks try to hit my lure almost as soon as it hit the water. ended up with about 8 macks and lost 5 lures ughhh....worth the fun day i had though. also had a couple pomp jigs out no hits though.
