3. It builds faith in Jesus and in God’s written word.
4. It provides a tool for witnessing both to Jews and Gentiles.
5. It is a defense of the Christian faith. Believers should always be prepared to give a defense of the faith, but to do so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15,16).
In summary, Christians should use Messianic prophecy to build their faith,
to witness to others, and to defend the Gospel. Such prophecy is not a tool for arguing people into the Kingdom of God. But it can overcome objections and open the door to present the Gospel.
