 Invoices for maintenance, inspection, and calibration services performed within 24 months of the preliminary review submission.

 Architectural drawings/images demonstrating natural ventilation design.
 Written statement declaring the facility does not have any mechanical ventilation systems serving any of the parking decks.

MEASURE C8: LIGHTING CONTROLS




Documentation Requirements:


 Narrative describing the lighting control scheme and components and operational plan:

  • For timer controls, provide schedules of timer control sequences and policies for updating the timer programs when changes are needed

  • Specifications of each lighting type showing total peak power consumed

  • Illuminated square footage



Average Rated Lamp Life
 Calculations of average rated lamp life supported by the following data:

  • Fixture count

  • Specifications sheet of each lighting type showing average rated lamp life

  • Totals and weighted average calculation for facility wide average rated lamp life

 Invoices or contract with lighting recycling company that handles removal of expired lamps.



MEASURE C10: STORMWATER MANAGEMENT




Documentation Requirements:


Erosion and Sedimentation Control (ESC) Plan
 Provide ONE of the following:

Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Plan


 Provide ONE of the following:

  • Adherence to municipal and local watershed water quality control Total Suspended Solids targets

  • Compliance with Green Globe Stormwater Management Criteria for Quality

Site Water Balance Assessment

 Provide ONE of the following:


  • Analysis demonstrating a minimum of 50% of the total average rainfall volume is retained*

  • Compliance with Green Globe Stormwater Management criteria

MEASURE C11: RAINWATER HARVESTING

MEASURE C13 – INDOOR WATER EFFICIENCY




Revision to Standard:


Options (page 165): Parking structures must conform to one of the following two criteria for a maximum of two points:

Parking structure must meet the following requirements:

• All private lavatory faucets within the parking structure are EPA WaterSense approved or have WaterSense-approved aerators (or equivalent).

All public lavatory faucets have a maximum installed flow rate of 0.4 gallons per minute*

• All toilets and urinals within the parking structure are WaterSense-approved (or equivalent) or are waterless.

[2 points] All faucets, toilets and urinals within the project boundary meet the criteria outlined above.

*No WaterSense criteria exists for public lavatory faucets; GBCI requires that all public lavatory faucets meet the flow rate threshold defined in Compliance Path 1 of the Indoor Water Use Reduction prerequisite within the LEED v4 Reference Guide for Building Design and Construction.

[1 point] Parking structure has implemented water efficiency technologies and procedures in accordance with the WaterSense criteria.

Meet the full requirements of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Water Use Reduction Credit (WE3)

  • Dated plumbing inspection report confirming the flush/flow rates of installed fixtures

MEASURE C14: WATER EFFICIENT LANDSCAPING




Revision to Standard:


Options (page 167):

1. Meet one of the following requirements:

For retrofit, Eliminate permanent irrigation systems, plant trees, shrubs, and grasses that do not require irrigation.

For new construction, If irrigation is required to establish new landscaping, it must be temporary and be removed within a year from planting after flora becomes established.

Plans may include hardscape with pervious paving that allows additional stormwater infiltration.

2. Meet one of the full requirements of the USGBC LEED BD+C 2009 Water Efficient Landscaping credit (WE Credit 1) or LEED BD+C for New Construction v4 Outdoor Water Use Reduction credit.

3. Meet the full requirements of Options Two or Three under Credit 3.4 (Reduce Outdoor Water Use) of the SITES v2 Rating System.

4. Facility utilizes greywater or harvested rainwater for all landscape irrigation.

 Images of the roof demonstrating roofing technologies.
 Breakdown of roof areas (square footage) by roofing type.
 For roof designs containing high SRI materials, include the specification sheet from the manufacturer stating the SRI rating.

MEASURE C16: RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION




Documentation Requirements:


Renewable Energy Generation
 Narrative describing the energy generation system:

 Details describing the system components including model numbers and manufacturer specification sheets.
 Analysis of energy produced and consumed at the facility to substantiate the renewable energy production level achieved as a percentage, including:

  • Power generation reports for the 12 months prior to the preliminary review submission. If the system was installed within the past year, provide an estimate of energy production derived from an industry accepted modeling tool for any months where real data is not available

  • Utility billing history for the 12 months prior to the preliminary review submission detailing the total energy consumed at the facility (if the garage has been operational for less than 12 months, energy consumption modeling may replace utility bills)

Renewable Energy Credit (REC) Purchases
 Contracts/invoices showing the purchase of certified RECs and utility billing history over the 3 months prior to the preliminary review submission.
 Signed “Commitment to Continued Sustainable Operations” form, located at the end of this document, with box for Measure C16 REC Purchasing checked.
Utility billing history for the 12 months prior to the preliminary review submission detailing the total energy consumed at facility (if garage has been operational for less than 12 months, energy consumption modeling may replace utility bills).

MEASURE C17: DESIGN FOR DURABILITY




Revision to Standard:


Description [Structural Concrete] (page 183): Include appropriate amounts of fly ash, silica fume and slag cement in concrete mix design. These components are industrial by-products that reduce permeability in concrete.

Description [Structural Concrete] (page 183): Add structural fibers to reduce crack widths.

Description [Precast (PC) concrete structural system] (page 184): Include appropriate amounts of fly ash, silica fume and slag cement in concrete mix design. These components are industrial by-products that reduce permeability in concrete.

Description [Precast (PC) concrete structural system] (page 184): Add structural fibers to reduce crack widths.

Description [Steel Structural System] (page 186): If paint finish is used, specify a high quality SSPC-SP10 Near White Metal Blast Cleaning.

Documentations Requirements:


 Documentation confirming compliance to a durability design plan for the applicable superstructure design type(s). If more than one design type is employed, provide all of the applicable durability design plans.
 Written statement by a licensed professional endorsing the project’s adherence to the applicable design options.
