Documentation verifying that the type of vehicles that are available in the carshare hub are alternative fuel vehicles (e.g. vehicle registrations, invoices, contract with carshare operator).
MEASURE B7: RIDESHARE PROGRAM
Revision to Standard:
Options (page 95):
A garage rideshare program will meet all of the following criteria:
•At least two percent (2%) of total parking spaces reserved for rideshare.
•Signage promoting rideshare program and displaying the program’s telephone, email, and website address (if available)
•Commitment that the property will reserve additional spaces to meet rideshare program demand.
[4 points] Parking structure reserves at least two percent of parking spaces within the project boundary for rideshare, promotes the availability of these spaces, and commits the property to reserving additional spaces to meet rideshare demand.
[6 points] Parking structure has deployed a rideshare program which meets all the aforementioned criteria and provides additional incentives (i.e., discounted parking, raffle for rideshare users or free amenity use) to rideshare users.
[2 points] Parking structure provides incentives to rideshare users (i.e. discounted parking, raffle or free amenity use) and promotes the availability of these incentives.
A facility may pursue both options for a total of 6 points.
Six percent of total parking spaces reserved for “Clean Air Vehicles,” as defined in the California Green Building Standards Code, satisfies the space requirement here, in addition to that for B8 and B9.
