The Holy Thief - 2014-12-16 13:31

Dressed in ragged raiment, the beggar stood up to speak.

Upon his face was a beaming smile, like summer breeze against your cheek.

What he spoke amazed the crowd for they counted him as dim.

But as words flowed out the crowd could see blazing light within.

                      ~
"I have approached the Most High God.

I've taken what belongs to him.

Not so much as a sinner might do.

But absconding with remedy for sin.

He lays it in an open place outside his holy throne.

Any man may walk up there and take it quickly to his home.

He holds no man accountable for taking these things he owns.

But he lets them come and take what's his to heal their ragged bones.

Even here you see a sliver of golden life from there

I found it in that open space.  I present it for your ears.

It does not take a hardy thief to take from the Most High God.

It only takes one who truly believes.  I'm really not that odd.

Wisdom is given freely; lacking judgment on the part of God.

Specific for the purpose of life, that his name we all might laud."

                       ~
With completion of delivery, the loner turned and left.

The crowd was stunned to silence.  He'd delivered more than their best.

What happened next, the jury rests, for only time will tell,

How they will treat this special gold he delivered oh so well.

Blue Christmas - 2014-12-17 08:49

Throughout the night, the last song I heard playing continues to echo in my mind.  Exhausted as I was, I slept well.  But the power of the song continues.  Even all my dreams were touched by endless sorrow.

I wake with a heavy heart.  For the things I have done in my life will not leave me alone.  This is a picture of the life I lead for decades.  It is a haunting echo of the man I was.

With desperation I realize I need a friend.  I need someone who is not like me.  I need someone whose resources are endless.  I need someone near me who can care.  This is, of course, the Living God in Christ Jesus.

I hide from men as a loner, because I do not want to teach them the things I have done.  If I speak to them face to face, the testimony of myself comes to the surface.

I push the Lord forward before me, between they and I, that they will not assume a wicked life can have any righteousness.

The song is "Blue Christmas".  I am void of explanation that I should have any joy at all.  The things I have done in my life are death.  My value is to die, and to die, and to die.  If it had not been for the mercy of God, I would be dead already.

This is my testimony before all men, according to the things I have done.

I know I am not alone.  Everyone of you can testify the same.  If every man is honest with his history, death is all he ever was.  And without the life that God offers, no man has hope.

But isn't this the reason why I testify so vigorously?  Because the One with endless resource has offered his bloody hands to me.  He teaches me to receive.  He promises me a new song.

I cannot live in my past, for it is nothing but death.  I cannot live in my present, for memories drown me in sorrow.  And if it were not for the Living God, to come and touch me with compassion, my future is nothing but darkness of death's promise.

This is what this blog of testimony is all about.  I write that many may have life.  I speak as loudly as I can about the endless resources of God to love you.  I speak as loudly as I can, to educate every man regarding his own worthless life.  Let them perceive the disparity and yearn for health.

God is mercy.  He holds out his hands all day long to every man, woman and child.  "Come, let us reason together.  Though your sins are as scarlet they shall become white as wool".

Hope!  Precious and vibrant hope!  This is what the Lord offers!  Yet with a heavy sigh, I wonder who can take it.

Who is willing to lay down their precious death?  Who is willing to abandon their regretful memories; their only solace in the dark?  The compensation of man for the nature of what he is.

Yes Christianity requires much.  There is holiness to attain.  But in this work there is life.  We are death.  We are headed to death, and all we have is death.

All the while God stands.  Life, promise and pure integrity, is held out for any who come and take it.  To die is easy.  For that is what we are.  To live, simply requires laying down death.

This is the new song he gave me, as I sat with heavy heart.  He reminded me of the new song that waits to be sung.  The compassion of God is not a fable.  It is in fact, the endless resource for life.

Christmas Gone Wrong - 2014-12-17 10:11

"Mass", refers to the amassing of people for an agreed purpose.  "Christ", specifies the purpose.                 Christmas!

What can man say?  How will anyone of us testify before the Living God in regard to our celebration of what is called Christmas?

How have we honored the Living God's Christ by the giving of joy and gifts to one another?  How have we celebrated his Royalty?  What is the year, and where is the place we amassed for His Glory alone?

The question will be satisfied with one day's answer.  You cannot supply one sufficient day for answer.  I shall not ask you for all your days.

But men take pride in what they have done to the Glory of God.  They celebrate snow.  They elevate fictitious characters.  They embrace lies as if they are holy.  And they consider any man blasphemous who speaks against them.  Then count me blasphemous, for I will speak against it!

The concept of fasting is more than the celebration of Lent.  Easter is not intended for glamorous attire, hide and seek, and a simple rabbit.

Christmas, of all days people, Christmas!  This is the one day man has drug to the very pit of hell.  Every wicked attribution of man is attributed to this most Holy day!

Along with all our other unholy sins, every man will give account to the Most High God for his treatment of this day; for his treatment of His Most Holy Son.

The very word of God became flesh among us.  This by the power of God's righteous strength.  God's intent for compassion has become a pageantry of selfish greed.

They celebrate without knowledge, yet they assume they know perfectly well.  Their assumption is a wall a: thousand miles thick, and 10 thousand miles high.  They are not aware of their lack, nor do they care to look into these things.

The Royalty of the Holy Lord Jesus stands established forever!  The Living God has spoken an eternal oath.

How can man hold the Incarnate Word of God in one hand, and the lie of Santa Claus in the other?  It is not possible to worship both!  One of them rightfully demands to be God!

How is it your right to compare what is Holy with what is a lie?  How is it possible to be the owner of life and death at the same time?  By doing this you ascribe death to the Holy One of God.

For lack of vision the people perish.  Their vision is cut short by greedy lies.  What glories they forsake, for the sake of shiny trinkets!

My Servant - 2014-12-18 01:31

I could not sleep because of the news.  I did not want to sleep because of the urgency.  A tumult in my house has robbed me of peace.  An occasional plundering of my goods has reached my ears. So I pondered with these questions:

Is the hope of God among men, locked away in some distant future place?  Is it God's will that we be tossed about my temptation?  Is there no repair for the wayward heart of man?  Truly, must we wait for heaven to do the will of the Living God in Christ Jesus?

These questions come to me as one.  How is it possible that my love for God can lack at all?

And then the singular question branches quickly into a myriad of uncountable answers.

As bountiful are the temptations of this wicked place, each one wickedly stands to give an answer.  But one suspect stands much closer than the temptations of every day and night.

By force of truth, I have called him to give account.

"You are my servant.  To you all things of mine are given.   You are set, by proclamation of the Most High God, to be in control of the things that are mine.  There is lack in my house!  How can this be so?  Give account of yourself, I demand it!"

The truth of reply is given: "My lord I cannot give answer for the moment."

What can I say to this?  He has been commanded to appear in truth.  And with truth he has answered me.

"Sit here before me.  You have allowed lack, as I gave you free reign to do the work you are commanded to accomplish.  Now sit here before me, so I can inspect your ways. I will know your diligence."

Who is this servant who has been given so much?  Who is this servant who is under such heavy rebuke?  What kind of servant can be given the responsibility for the health of my entire house?

With barely audible whisper I will tell you.  It is my will.

My Servant 2 - 2014-12-18 06:15

(Continuance from the post, "My Servant")

I had brought my servant before me to give account of himself throughout the night.  As commanded, he sat before me on the floor, working through his papers of accountability.

Come the morning he had endured strong expectations.  I watched him as he prayed.  I listen to his careful words carefully.  I was witness to his dutiful obedience; how hard he strove to obey.

I arose from my throne of self.  Going over to him, I knelt on the floor in front of him.  Putting my hand under his chin, I raised his eyes to mine.

Perceiving this to be the moment of divulging, he opened his mouth to speak.  As he lifted his eyes to heaven, the words of request began to flow.

"It is my fault before You, O' Living God in Christ.  I have disappointed my master. I have not fulfilled his requirements.  I have allowed to enter what should not be in his house.  I beg you my God Jesus, speak through me your voice."

We waited but two moments, and then the words came out, "Be satisfied with what you have".  Neither of us did doubt.

With mutual nod of agreement, we sat together on the floor.  Our Lord had answered faithfully, and cleaned our house once more.

Then we prayed together, my faithful will and I.  "Sovereign God it's true for ever.  You will catch us, lest we die."

The Holy Lord is faithful.  Jesus is truly King.  We spoke amen to Polycarp's testimony: "Eighty and six years he has served me well.  Why should I deny him now?"

Should we live to be a hundred, he is the rightful Lord.  My will and I did worship there.  Casting praise and thanks to him.

Answer to Prayer - 2014-12-18 06:44

When the Lord shall give you answer,

To a question you have had.

Sear it in your memory,

As the receiving child is glad.

Play with it and own it.

Toss all it around.

Look at it, with joy's intent.

Study from the upside and down.

Take it apart as far as it will.

Examine its inner part.

Then let your soul decide to be still.

Understanding with grateful heart.

Worthy Words - 2014-12-18 06:58

As is always the case, "soul supply" correctly nails the vibrancy of Christmas.  Below is a worthy read for all men, but especially for the faithful brothers in the body of Christ.

The Living Prayer - 2014-12-18 08:45

From eternity the oath is spoken.  The Holy Son asks by the ministry he is sent to accomplish.

Every word of every prayer is the fruit of a perfectly earnest life.  By this the Lord Jesus lives the answer to his own prayers.  How shall the eternal Father in Heaven not give his own flawless will?

From the birth of the Son to the holy words spoken, "It is finished", the Holy Son lives his prayer.

7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8
Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9
You will break them with a rod of iron;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”

Often the prayers of men are naught but words.  And in this they take stabbing guesses at the Holy will of the Living God.

But the life of earnest obedience produces effective prayers on its own.  As the fruit tree does not strain to produce what it is made to produce, so the obedient servant of Christ Jesus is made effective.

Define "Us" - 2014-12-19 05:03

Who are we, that we should have the Holy things of the Living God in Christ Jesus?

Who, indeed, are we?

We live in the very place where The Living God has tested His Holy Son.

Who are we?

He has given us His Holy Spirit, that we may "become".

Who are we?

This same testing is upon us.

Who are we?

For His Majesty alone we dance before Him among wickedness profuse.

Who are we?

We are drawn out of chaos, set before His Holy face, and bid to walk like men.

Who are we?

We are promised eternal life, exclusively for His Majestic purpose from eternity.

Who are we?

Let any of us answer, it will be full of fault.  Who are we to speak of such things?

Who are we?

Yet the power of the Eternal Living God lives in us, even the very Christ of God!

Who are we?

We are given to rise up as one, in He who is One.

That is who we are.

Describe this, it is impossible.

Yet as surely as the Living God's Christ is given all things, so we are.

We are His Holy promise!

We are His Holy will in this place of testing.

We are bound tward His Holy promised eternity.

That is who we are.

How many of us will rise to embrace the things we are?

His wisdom stretches out to perform His Holy will among us.

Who will reach out to take His wise limit for this day's work?

May the coming night of this day testify what we have become.

That will mark who we are; as far as our tiny minds can comprehend.

I could go on for days like this, writing the questions.

Yet, how shall that do any "Good"?

I must go and do the will of the Living God in Christ, His Holy Son.

Let us go then and prove by faithful doing who we are.

May the will of God be done among all His chosen people.

He alone has chosen all of us, by His Holy Wisdom.

That is who we are.

Receive! - 2014-12-19 05:47

"The Faith":

Its fullness stands starkly before all the enemies of God.

Speaking by its presence, "You will never touch me".

Though the storm may rage around he who abides with in this Faith,

He will sleep in peace.

Though the waves threaten the weakened ones,

The Faith abides in fullness of trust.

Boldness is its radiant marking.

He who has, timidity has become vanquished.

What is the threat that will subdue it?

What threat cast a shadow on the one who owns The Faith?

What is The Faith?

It is that God cannot lie.

He has spoken His Holy promise in flesh and blood.

He has raised Him from the dead by The Faith.

Though they sought to lay hands on him, he walked through their midst.

Yet, when their time of strength was given them, The Faith allowed capture.

Still, The Faith endured; as a lamb is led to the slaughter he did not open his mouth to complain.

The Faith!

What portion do we find ourselves willing to embrace?

Portion, because He is First!

Boldness of The Faith, my brothers!

Receive, do, glorify, accomplish, and become!

It is The Living God's joy to give.

Receive!

Useless Words (No Further Value) - 2014-12-19 08:52

What is good news to the one who thinks everything is just peachy?  Why is Christianity of such tiny esteem in this world?  Because a message is being promoted with the strength of greed.  The greedy recognize it as "profit".  It "rings their bell"!

"We'll give you a list of things you can do to receive accolades from everyone you know.  Righteousness will be yours by doing these simple tasks.  Think green.  Live United.  Refrain from volatile speech.  Consider everyone with equality.  Love, without reservation toward religion.  Embrace every thought, for every thought has eternal value."

Who needs the Good News of the Gospel, when they have all the good news they can handle?  Who needs salvation, when there's nothing wrong?  The only thing wrong in this world is the division caused by differing beliefs regarding what is good; that's what they'll tell you.  Isn't that what's being forced down the throat of every one of us?

Who will read the vibrant and living threats of God, when they have all they could ever want?  For $10.00, you can go to Wal Mart and buy more happiness.  Oh, I agree it won't last long.  But their stock of "happiness" seems to have no end.  And eat?  Oh!  Eating we can do!  Utopia has come into view!  We're finally free of that Living God stuff.  We don't need Jesus!  We got it all!

Hmm.  I perceive a problem here.

The living threats of God are already on the way folks.  All the while, you live like tomorrow will be the same as today.

It is impossible for God to lie.  As surely as He has promised eternal life to those who humble themselves before His Majestic Holy Son, He will annihilate all who love this world more than Him.

You glorify your dead.  But less than a split second after the last breath, they are separated by the Judgment of God.  You glorify your greed and pride.  But God Glorifies His Holy Son.

If you knew what awaits you, just beyond your last breath, you'd perceive the Good News of the Gospel in a radically different light.

I'd tell you about the Love of God.  But you'd never understand from the perspective you now hold so dear.  The curious thing is, you have no stomach for the terror that is headed your way either.

I could speak to you with comforting words.  But you don't warrant them.  I could speak to you with fiery words of Living Threat.  But you allow such words no authority among you.

What will you do, when you're face to face (for the very first time) with the Living God?  I'll fill in the blank for you.  You'll desire to be anywhere but there.  You'll quake in fear, like you've never felt before.

Here, death looms as a release from the things that bring you trouble.  There, there will be no place to hide.  No release.  No hope.  And no EXCUSES.

Toss this about a while.  Think about it.  As surely as The Living God lives, this will come upon all men who consider the Holy Son of God as a useless set of words.

Truth For Sale - 2014-12-19 09:35

There is a distinct possibility that I'm about to lose a new-found friend.  Yet, in an effort to avoid the loss, I'm going to preface this post with a few short words.

This one I'm about to give answer to, is not alone.  He will know who he is.  But I won't make mention of his name.  It's not the new-found friend I'm attacking.  It is a certain concept that has gripped the "new" Christian church, with a "Gorilla Tape" grip.

I must also say, that if we bolt and run because someone points out a faulty premise we hold dear, we stood on quicksand long before we heard the correction.  I don't want any loss.  But I can't let this slide either.

What association does money have with Christ Jesus?  What value does fame have before the Living God?  Nationality is a cause for pride, not a source of godliness.  And if we are not accepted for some worldly division, what is that to us?

You want to write to make money.  There's nothing stopping you there.  But if you want to make money by writing Christian books, you stand on really thin ice.  "Freely you have received, freely give."  Anyone recall that?  Did Peter charge the beggar anything to heal his legs?  Did Jesus charge admission for any of His words or miracles?  Are we required to pay anything to receive salvation?  Then why would we use the freely given Gospel of Christ to make money.

To sit and gripe that no one will let you join in this useless profit, is a bewildering sorrow.  Isn't salvation enough?  Did your nationality come up as you stood to accept the Lord?  Did someone say, "Oh, you're from 'this nation'"?  We're you excluded from the joy of Christ because your skin was a different color?  Wasn't the Gospel presented to you FREE?  Wasn't it proclaimed in your native tongue?

You can do what you want.  What's that to me?  But to make money because of the Son of God?  Aren't there plenty of other ways to earn money?  Isn't this world plentiful enough to inspire writings worthy of a couple bucks?

Again, you'll do what you'll do.

By the way, there are millions of anonymous writers.  And there are hundreds of ways to spread the Gospel for free.  What counts to you, profit, or the glorification of the Lord who's Holy Blood bought your joy and inspiration?

Hard Questions - 2014-12-20 09:30

Why don't we ask each other the hard questions?:  Why are we so timid when it comes to confrontation?  How can the answer be any other than fear?

"If I confront him about this, there'll be friction."

Why?  Because of pride.  It lives and breathes within every man with the ferocity of a wild beast.  Wake him and you will certainly incure abuse.

What's the fix?  Stop coddling each other!  Learn to take it on the chin.  Learn to deliver Life to your brother, regardless the cost.  Learn to listen to wisdom!

The Lord will help you deliver the punching questions with humility.  If they retaliate, you earn the right to say you have been persecuted for Truth's sake.

Who do you fear the most?  The Living God, or man?

What more needs to be said here?  I've asked the hard question.  What's your response?  I didn't couch this in "PC", because I want you to see how strongly bound, in each of us, Pride really is.

Why isn't humility and a teachable spirit bound more tightly?

The Crystal Spire - 2014-12-20 14:05

A Mystery from vision:

A Crystal Mount rises from below the deep.

Frothing waves; mindless beginnings.

Settled and firm in the bedrock below,

With mighty claws, the Mount remains fixed.

Renowned is the spire which towers above.

As it juts though, it's jilted by tumult.

Pierced are the clouds, never handled by men.

Obscure is what lay, just "beyond".

Sparse are the feet which have climbed "within".

Never, no never, to return; not again.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . .Sigh.

. . . . . . . . . . . . ..Amen.

Now the tale turns to oblivion beyond,

To the place no perception of man has witnessed

The spire continues to mount and recede,

Past the grasp of flesh's fingers for gripping.

Tiny atop, is this vibrant aged spire.

Not one shred of man welcomed to climb.

From somewhere above, to the end of all things,

Only souls defy nature to bind.

The narrow gate's not wood, stone or lime.

It's becoming from flesh; death entwined.

Regret is But a Vapor - 2014-12-21 08:02

Among men, there are things that are referred to as truth.  In this place of testing, this place where wickedness is king, such a statement has a moment of viability.  For men will do what they do.  They will accept what they consider profitable.  And they will praise one another for obedience to the expectations of men.

But there is a place where such things called truth will leave all their hands empty.  They will be void of praise for the One who has allowed them freedom to do as their pleasure has demanded.  When Glory no longer allows the pleasure of men, they will have no praise for God.

They give gifts to one another for the sake of worthless profit.  But their hands will be full of regret, at the time of appearing before Him.

How can I help you, my brothers of flesh?  How can I inspire you to gather profit?  How can this tiny man urge you to fill up your gifts for Him?  How can these words displace the pleasure of man within the souls of my fellow man?

Please consider, with the greatest sobriety, how that moment will be.  Every man will see the Holy Angels bowing at the Glory of Christ Jesus.  Every man will witness those whose hands are filled with the Holy Works of God.  Every man will hear the praise, that holy praise, which is rightfully due to the One who has redeemed their souls.  And shame will fill those with empty hands.

Eternity, that great door of Life, will open for those who accept the Lord's offer of humility.  Void of pride, they will enter His Holy Kingdom.  While the great assembly of eternal dead are ushered to their place of horror, the righteous will abound in joy.

Who are the righteous?  Are they those whose own works of pleasure has filled their holy hands?  No.  This is a fable of man.  The pride of man has promoted this lie.  The righteous are those who have sought the Living God.  It is God who has endowed them with righteous and eternal ways.  They have received!  They have not provided for themselves.

Such people will have what cannot be taken away.  For what belongs to God will remain forever.  But the pleasure, pride, accomplishments of the flesh, and desire for what brings temporary peace, will utterly be void of praise for the Living God.

Regret is a vapor.  Do not let your hands be filled with vapor when you appear before Him.  He offers you profit this very moment.  Be full.  Become profitable for He who is Life Eternal.  Let Him dress you according to His Holy Will.  Why would we remain naked all our days here?

"I'm a Man!" - 2014-12-21 10:59

With every thought.  With every action.  With every word he speaks.  Man proclaims, "I am a man".

With pride of accomplished adulthood, man stands.  As if there is something to be proud about, by the simple doings of expectations.

How many perceive the shame of man?  How many are able or willing to perceive the length, width, height, and depth that is God?  With such a perception, man is no more than a tiny baby.

Wisdom escapes man; holy wisdom from ancient of ages escapes man.  The doings of God that were done endless years before the creation of Adam.  Where is this wisdom among man?  How small is every man?

With every prayer.  With every desire.  With every movement of soul and body.  The man of God seeks the will of God.

Where is the boasting pride of man before God's Holy Throne?  Such things are not even allowed entrance.

The Division - 2014-12-22 05:53

I doubt that it is possible for man to understand the things I am about to say.  For he will perceive through his own understanding.  And the understanding of man is filtered through greedy desire.

I do not mention greedy desire as a slur, but simply as a fact of his own nature.  For every man is born of severe limit.  Ignorance, death and sickness belong to him.  Wherever he perceives an individual who is overcoming these things, he desires with greed to have (or with his pride, to reject).

You want the love of God's people.  You reject them because they do not love you as you love yourself.  In the weakness of your being, you think it abhorrent that anyone should love God's ways more than they love you.

But you do not understand the differences in love.  We love you as a matter of mutual weakness.  For the things that plague you also plague us.  Ignorance, sickness and death cover all men.  So that the love we have for you is born of compassion.

But the love we have for the Living God's Holy Son, is not filled with compassion!  He is endlessly wise, full of life, power beyond the wildest imagination of man, and eternal.  Our love for Him is full of awe, reverence, worship, thanks and praise.  How is it possible for us to give you this same love?

We serve you with the compassion that is born from our love for God.  But your pride gets in the way.  You don't want to be thought of as weak.  You don't want pity, unless it comes dressed as excuse.

There is so much more to say regarding this.  But let this stand as it is.  Those who will ponder these things may well find understanding.  For in their pondering, they may turn to God to understand.

Do not think we chide you because we hate you.  We hate the weakness that was ours.  As long as that weakness still dresses you, you receive the hatred of those who love God.  Yet even in our hatred for the things that cover you, you receive our compassion.  Even as our own weakness has received the compassion of God.

Yet with compassion, we deliver you the message of God.  Boldly, we deliver you the messages of warning.  Boldly, we speak to tear down the things you currently love.  We make fun of what you think is sincere.  For there is no life in the ways of man.

We know you will not accept our word as long as you are dressed in pride.  For you consider us rebellious.  We were once of you.  And now you can't understand why we have turned against you.  But the compassion of God within us, drives us forward to speak, regardless your response.

You are urged to come and be with us.  Not a single man who loves the Living God in Christ Jesus, desires this division to remain.  What holds you back is not our hatred for the things that now cover you; as if we are snobish and proud.  What hold you back is your own weakness in pride.

Only the Living God will reveal these things, and this through his most excellent wisdom.  The weakness of flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of God.  Only those things born of the Holy Spirit of God may enter the kingdom of heaven.  You cannot join us without the humility of Christ covering you.  You cannot truly love us unless your sins are forgiven.

May the Living God, the Holy Father of Christ Jesus, His Holy and Righteous Son, have mercy to wisely open the eyes of all who read this.

By His Grace

The Law of the Land - 2014-12-22 07:57

Silly people; law is for the rebellious.  ( disclaimer: my apologies to the Trix rabbit.  I have no intention of dragging you into a debate regarding legalism.  You are quite free to desire what you cannot have.)

Across the entire globe, civil law is being instituted:

"You are commanded, by virtue of natural law, to act in accordance with peace among all men.  There shall be no allowance made for recognition of differences between peoples or individuals.  Except as required for the sake of authority.

Equality among all persons shall be the law of the land.  Where one is less, provision shall be made to make him more.  Proverty, of any kind, shall be considered illegal. Reparation to equalize shall be the burden of those who have wealth exceeding equality.

The mention of inequality shall be forbidden, except where it pertains to forced reparations.  Praise for any human condition, value or belief, is hereby commanded by law.

Penalties for disobedience shall be the responsibility of local court.  The foundation of any local court's authority shall be based on world law.

The forced removal of property, and even the penalty of death, is available as reasonable punitive action.  Common social-geographical opinion is to be taken into consideration for the more severe of penalties."

If you think this simulation of law is too fanciful to be real, you might want to take a second look at the current legal, political and social trends.  And while you look, do not forget that a "one world order" has been prophesied.

But I did not write this for the sake of prophecy.  I wrote this to expose the folly of man's rebellion against the Holy One.

Christianity has not gone unnoticed.  Since it cannot be quenched with murder,  the rebellious have determined to annihilate its effectiveness and lure, by institution of similar law.

The new ploy of the enemy of God, is to provide a legalized version of righteousness which mimics the properties of the Holy Spirit within God's chosen people.

But law can never replace love.  Many will say that such laws are based on love.  By reason of logic alone, I differ greatly.

The laws of man are instituted because he perceives rebelion.  Therefore those who allow themselves to be ruled by such laws are counted as rebels.  And do not allow yourself to be fooled.  Where the law was begun there is no end, only escalation.

Those who try to justify themselves by law stand directly opposed to the grace of God in Christ Jesus.  God the Father has placed the entirety of His grace in His Holy Son.  By this grace salvation is given freely.  Those who attempt to earn salvation by works under law, spit in the face of the mercy of God.

But let the future unfold as it will.  Such laws will surely come to pass.  The salvation of man is at stake (The greatest of possible provocations).  And we are assured that more will elevate themselves by law then will humble themselves in grace.

The pride of man demands it,

While the grace of God is commanded.

Institution vs freedom, pride vs humility, law vs love, godlessness vs godliness.

Which will YOU choose?

Mystery to Marvel At. - 2014-12-23 04:26

Oh, Holy Lord, You are full of Truth.

We are of those who receive.

No truth lives in us, but that Your Holy Mercy dresses our hearts.

_____________________

I came to eat at the table of the Living God.

Did my rising lie to me?  Did I wake to fill my belly?

Or was I wakened, that I might be filled for the purpose of proclaiming?

"Selfishness remains in bed.  But earnest desire wakes the soul."

Life beckons,

"Come eat of the things that are good.

It is My desire that all should taste truth.

It is sweet to the soul, to breathe the Holy things of My Father.

Wake.  Wake and proclaim."

How powerful is the sacrifice that has been offered on our behalf.  How unable to proclaim, are the words of man.

Do we truly understand the Glory of God in Jesus His Holy Christ?  How can we comprehend the Majesty necessary to accomplish the Holy Will of God the Father?  Yet He has done it!  He has overcome!

Jesus has carved that impossible Way, in this horrible wilderness.  Though this place is void of understanding, The Holy Christ has overcome!

The season is upon us to remember the baby.  But how can the baby be separated from the magnificent man He became; that God Man, The Christ.

I am filled with things I cannot express.  There is a vision of this Holy One which escapes my ability to comprehend.

I have not seen mysteries this morning.  I have been witness to simple truth: Every man is a liar, but God alone is true.  Every man merely receives.  But God alone can give Life.

Man comes to God with desire in his hands.  Though he gives the Living One praise, there is expectation within him.  Purity escapes us.

Which of us understood?  Who, of man, knew to ask God for that Holy Baby?  Yet God gave, despite our darkness of mind and heart.  Who of us understood?  Who could know to ask God that His Holy Son should be crucified?  Yet obedience was produced, through that awesome strength of Love.

Which of us understands?  Who has known to ask what all this means to us today?  Our bend to receive is so powerful.  All we perceive is need.  Even in our praise, we are held captive to need.  But the Free One has given of His endless resource called Love.

Mystery?  You want mystery?  Why?  When the simple Gospel of Christ Jesus is more than a man can eat in his entire lifetime.

Men look to prophecy.  They strive against the hidden things to unveil the "marvelous".  How futile are such things?  When it is fully time, God will unleash answers.  But the Holy answer to our plight has already been unveiled!  Christ the King has been born among the enemies of God.  And words have been spoken, "It is Finished"!

Marvel at these things.

Majestic Glory of Christ - 2014-12-23 05:46

26 As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. 27 A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. 28 Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ 30 Then “ ‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ’31 For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?” (Luke 23)

I picked up my guitar this morning.  Bruce Carroll's song, "Driving Nails" was before me.  I tried to sing the song.  But sorrow came to the top.  I tried again.  But a tear issued forth.

I left the song unsung for a while.  But I tried again later.

The sorrow of Mary's plight struck me with intense reality.  May God grant me strength to sing that song with hope.

See the Majesty of Christ!  Perceive His Holy strength!  At the very prospect of ravaging nails, he turns to encourage.  He turns to instruct.  The Mercy of God walks that dusty path to obedient death.

The "Cat of Nine Tails" has torn his flesh.  Fists of his Father's enemies have pummeled his faithful face.  Spit from vile mouths mingles with his own blood.  Though he walks to certain death at the hands of a godless horde, he continues in the Holy will of His Righteous Father.

Perceive His Majesty!  Consider His Holy Faithfulness.  What man can be like the Master?  Yet isn't His strength offered to all?  Because of Him, there is Stephen.  Because of Him, overcoming is born.  Because of Him, Hope Endures!

Driving Nails

Bruce Carroll

Since that blessed night in a manger, she watched her baby grow, It seems Like yesterday He was in her arms, where did the time go?, He learned His Fathers trade, as she marveled at It all, The sweat dropped from her Little Carpenter as He made the timbers fall,
(Chorus) She can hear the driving nails upon the Hillside, and she prays that His spirit will not fail, she watches as a young man undertakes His Fathers Will, as she stands and listens to the driving nails
In the streets of Jerusalem a child can disappear , She was frantic as She looked for Him, Until She began to hear, the hammers up at the temple, she called Him as she ran, surprised she found Him teaching like no ordinary man
(Chorus)
Darkness covered all the land in the middle of the day, she began to tremble as the earth began to quake, Hammers, Nails & Timbers of The Carpenters Trade, made the sound that pierced her soul as the Cross was being raised (Chorus) And She cries and Listens To the Driving Nails

The Insane Farmer - 2014-12-24 04:42

There was a man who inherited a beautiful Farm.  It was situated on an open plain, high above the valley.  His acreage was mixed with a large open meadow and a forest of trees.  The house on the property was exceedingly well-built and perfectly proportioned for the life of one man.

When he went into the house to claim his inheritance, he found it in pristine order.  It was furnished with everything he might need.  On the dining room table was a note that had been left for the new owner.  The note read as follows:

"You will find this place perfectly suited to you.  I have lived my life here as will you; isolated yet healthy.  Troubled, yet busy.  Farming is no easy business.  But you will grow to appreciate the gift.

You will find a good bag of seeds in the pantry.  Plow and plant a good crop, as seems best to you.  The ground is very fertile.  The crop you raise will produce a good profit for your labor.  You will also find a sled, a saw, and an axe in the barn.

I leave you with only two stipulations.  Give of the overflow of your crop to the people in the valley below.  And as you find yourself able and willing, produce plenty of firewood.  The overflow of wood you are to bear on the sled to the people in the valley below also.

Otherwise you are more than welcome to live the rest of your life in this beautiful place I have prepared from my successor."

The soul of the man was overjoyed to do the things required of him.  And in his first year he found the land rich and the trees prime for harvest.  The work was, indeed difficult.  But the joy of harvest overcame the sweat, blood, and frustrations.  After delivery of his first gifts to the valley, he sat well satisfied.  Giving of his harvest had made it all worthwhile.

The man was not a good farmer but he was willing to learn.  And the cutting down the trees was difficult at first.  But he was faithful to deliver his abundance of crop and firewood to the people below.

But there is a reason why this man was picked to inherit this beautiful gift.  The previous owner had been looking for just such as he to hand down the property.  The current owner had a bit of an insane bend.

He would work for weeks as a perfectly rational farmer.  Then the sky would be witness to a moment or two of insanity.

On random days, the morning would see him go to the barn.  He would take his well made shovel and head out to the field.  With wild-eyed diligence, he would dig a small trench around a tiny portion of crop.  When the trench had isolated that portion, he would set it on fire.  With his insanity satiated from his odd work, he would go back to the house with his head hung low.

Throughout the night perplexity would overcome him with sorrow.  No mater how he reasoned, he could not explain his lack of wisdom.  And as the next morning came, the sky would be witness to him as he sat on his front porch trying to understand.

At first such moments in the morning were filled with sorrow and tears.  But as the years passed, the sky would see him wrestle, in truth, to accept what he could not change.

He was a man mixed with faithful endurance and ridiculous insanity.  Thus the reason for his isolation.  Who in the valley would understand?  Yet by his beautiful inheritance, he gave them what he could.

How many of us are like this man?  Though we know to do good, we find ourselves doing evil.  And how do we find ourselves able to explain this insanity?

Perhaps there are many who can overcome this circus of failure.  But for the majority, overcoming does not appear.

But take note of the man's response to his own incredible weakness.  He was faithful to deliver the expectation.  And he did not flinch to provide.  While sanity ruled his days, he worked from sun up to sun down.  Determination remained to fulfill his charge.  And who can say?  Perhaps his sane determination was in excess; so as to replace what his insanity destroyed.

When you find those moments of sorrow, endure them with what truth lives in your soul.  Then get back to your feet and get back to work.  There are people depending on what faithfulness you are able to sustain.

Do not let your failings disrupt the needs of others.  They too have their own moments of unexplainable insanity.  But by our meager faithfulness, the community of men is sustained.

P. S. This story makes no mention of grace, nor the Gospel.  But the Grace of God, and the Good News of Christ, are the singular reason for every work produced here.

By His Grace

Righteousness Silenced - 2014-12-25 04:38

There is a roar in those nations referred to as "advanced".

A quaking of souls, massed together in humiliation,

Each one buzzes with desire.

Together a thunderous volume of hatred roars.

Against the Holy One they mummer.

For the love of sin they whisper their joy;

Now shouting with their unholy practice.

Do they think the din of unholy noise will not reach Heaven?

Adoring the parade of wicked desire.

Propriety is forced to hide;

That brilliant, lovely, gentle dressing of soul.

"Get away from us!  You have nothing to offer anymore."

So they turn to perfumes to hide the stench.

They turn to guilded eyes to hide the darkness within.

Rich clothing, consuming of wages gained,

Adorning rotting bodies.

"Propriety is dead!  'Proper living' is useless.

We will celebrate gain!  This we will elevate to holy worship."

Chaos fills the desire of man.

Unholy things fill his unholy temples.

While the body rises to the strength of proud legs,

His soul slithers on the ground.

As the sharpened blade glints in the sunlight,

So his practices, unholy, glint in the Majesty of God.

As the blade sinks deep to cut off life,

So the practices of unholy men rest on their breast bone.

A tiny shove and life is over.

Let surprise show on their faces.

Let the Holy Lord of Life press truth against the handle.

Let temptation, enticing, lies, and desire,

Be pressed away from Him.

Salvation is offered.

But the One who offers is relegated,

To the shadows of a darkened alley.

Who will dare approach?

Who will brave death to embrace Life?

The Holy One's promises are eternally true.

One is for death.

The other is for Life.

Rise from your drunken stupor!

You die the Death unrestrained.

How will you stand on that Horrible day for sinners?

What strength will your legs of flesh find,

When He rises to judge?

So be it!

Let your soul slither on the ground!

It is in proper posture already.

For every knee will bow,

Every tongue will confess,

That Jesus, the Christ of God, is King,

Lord,

Master,

Glory,

Honor,

Righteousness,

Faithfulness,

And Truth.

Amen, Amen, Amen!

Christmas, Eternal - 2014-12-25 05:03

Today is the day, established by men, to give one another gifts.  They say it is to honor the Holy One of God.

Will you know the nature of the True Gift of God?  Is your soul strong enough to learn?
