Enroute or approach procedures do not require its use.
Pull TCAS circuit breaker and tie-wrap.
Install “TCAS INOP” placards on both RMU’s for Honeywell equipped aircraft and near the FMS-CDU for Collins equipped aircraft.
Confirm the associated (M) procedure has been completed to deactivate and secure the system.
Plan flight so enroute and approach procedures do not require use of TCAS.
Use ATC on (modes S and A) or ATC-ALT (modes A, C, S).

TCAS is not required on any aircraft with a seating configuration of less than 10 seats, excluding any pilot seat, per FAR 135.180, and it is not required by FAR 91.
