It was reported that the date for the Autumn Supper had required to be changed from 19th September to 3rd October. The reason that the change had been made was that the Boxmaster would not be able to be present at the original meeting. the Meeting noted that the new date does fall within a holiday period and the Clerk was therefore instructed to ensure that the pro forma letter to all Craftsmen be sent out immediately in relation to the Annual General Meeting, Special Meeting and Autumn Supper and the Meeting accepted that an Abstract of the Accounts would not be with this notice calling the Meeting.

The Meeting also instructed the Deacon, Boxmaster and Clerk to make the usual arrangements with the Queens Hotel for the menu and the Meeting resolved to hold the ticket price at £9 per head.

The Deacon reported that he had made tentative arrangements that the main toast will be "The Police" to be given by Craftsman David Smith and that the reply he hopes will be by James Cameron, Deputy Chief Constable of Tayside Police. lain Flett volunteered to give the vote of thanks at this function.

The Committee decided that the format of the Annual Dinner would remain as before. The Deacon reported that he had in mind to, ask Mr. Ivan Jacobson (who is Dundee's Citizen of the Year) to propose a toast "Jock Thamson's bairns - Citizens of Dundee" and that the reply should be in the hands of Mr. Bob Pringle. The Committee supported this and it was left with the Deacon to make arrangements to the Deacon, Boxmaster and Clerk to make the usual arrangements with the Hotel. The Committee further left it in the hands of the Deacon, Boxmaster and Clerk to fix the ticket price for the Dinner with power to charge up to £10 per ticket.
