Formal channels and informal channels
Downward flow: Person from the top sends message to person at the bottom
Upward flow: from bottom to top
Horizontal flow: between people at the same level
Gate keepers: for ex. receptionist (is in a position to pass or discard information), can help filtering valuable from unvaluable information, suppress important information
Ombudsman: tells inform. From the low levels to people at high levels
Definition of perspective: A perspective is a coherent set of assumptions about the way a process operates.
