The shallowing effect (computer use affects our ability to engage in reflective thinking: Internet is rewiring our brains: Cursory reading, hurried and distracted thinking, superficial learning, Internet trains to scanning, skimming, hand-eye coordination, reflex response, ability to process visual data but we cannot focus as long on single objects anymore
