For the Construction Stage: (1) Conduct the Environmental Monitoring for each section of the Project consisting of train track routes, tunneling works, waterway crossings and vicinities of local communities; (2) Monitoring of all Contractor´s activities with regard to environmental issues such as air and water qualities, noise and biota impacts at earth moving areas, tunnel works, etc.; (3) Following-up of environmental mitigation measures all component works such as tunneling, earthworks, civil works, with focus on Climate Change Adaptation Measures; (4) Conduct site visits in regular intervals not exceeding three month; (5) Participation in regular meetings with the Contractors, the Client and authorities involved; (6) Preparation of 6-Months´ Progress Reports to be included in the overall Progress Report for presentation to the Client and the European Investment Bank.
